"Jason, are you finally going to ask me on a date?" Kaitlyn inquired of her guest during the podcast, according to E! News.
"You're making me blush over here Kaitlyn," Jason, 30, reportedly replied. "I mean if we're both going to be in the same city at the same time I see no reason why we shouldn't go to dinner or grab drinks."
Kaitlyn, 33, accepted Jason's invitation, and then Jason allegedly gushed, "My heart is racing over here, my beats per minute are off the chain."
Kaitlyn, however, warned the senior corporate banker from Seattle, WA, "Don't f-ck it up."
According to an insider, Jason and Kaitlyn will be going on a date this weekend and they are both really excited about it.
"Jason has a crush on Kaitlyn. They met for the first time on her podcast," a source told E! News.
Jason revealed to Entertainment Tonight on Tuesday afternoon, hours after his appearance on Kaitlyn's podcast, that he had asked Kaitlyn out and she said yes.
The pair will both be spending time in Denver, CO, soon, and Jason reportedly said he plans to impress Kaitlyn with his restaurant selection, not to mention they "both love wine."

Jason, originally from Buffalo, NY, said of the Canadian currently living in Nashville, TN, "She is a down-to-Earth, beautiful woman who has a great sense of humor. She seems very strong and knows what she wants and empowers women."

Rumors have swirled of a potential romance brewing for Jason and Kaitlyn in recent weeks because they have exchanged flirty messages on social media.
Kaitlyn first competed on Chris Soules' heart on The Bachelor before starring on The Bachelorette in 2015. Kaitlyn got engaged to Shawn Booth during the finale and the pair dated for three years before calling it quits in November 2018.
"This difficult decision comes after thoughtful, respectful consideration," Kaitlyn and Shawn announced in a joint media statement late last year.
"Even though we are parting as a couple, we're very much committed to remaining friends. We have both evolved as people, which is taking us in different directions, but with the hope that we will continue to support each other in new ways."

As for Jason, he fell hard for Becca Kufrin on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season and finished in third place, leaving him devastated.
Jason was a frontrunner to star on The Bachelor's currently airing 23rd season, along with his pal Blake Horstmann, but the position ultimately went to his friend Colton Underwood.
