Now that The Bachelorette episode has aired in which Kaitlyn Bristowe had sex with Nick Viall, Bristowe might feel the need to defend her actions even more.

After previously insisting she's not ashamed of having sex on the show well before her round of fantasy-suite dates, Bristowe appeared on Good Morning America to further discuss her stance on the topic.
"I think that everybody knows by now that I am a very in-the-moment person, and so in that moment, I felt like I wanted to be honest and open and share that [I had sex]," Bristowe said during her Tuesday interview on GMA.
Bristowe has been slut-shamed for weeks and criticized on social media for being intimate so early in the dating process. She has argued that, in this day and age, sex plays an important role in many relationships and it's not that big of a deal.
"I try to not look too much into it or read too much into it because, you know, everybody has their opinions and no matter what I did throughout the season, people will have their opinions. It's obviously tough when you get thousands and thousands of messages that are very negative, but I just try to avoid it," Bristowe explained on GMA.

"I tried to just separate each relationship, and they all move at different paces. And that one [with Viall] definitely moved a little quicker than others -- and maybe the timing wasn't ideal on that one."
So what exactly did she mean by "the timing wasn't ideal?"
"I always wonder if I would have waited 10 days and it was the fantasy suite and I didn't talk about it, would I be getting the same response from people? Probably not. But I don't know, the timing, I just worried about jeopardizing my other relationships," she elaborated.
Before the cat was out of the bag that Bristowe had made love to a suitor on The Bachelorette, Bristowe was already being scrutinized for making out with so many guys, and it wasn't just the fans who didn't appreciate it.
The bachelors on the show got so jealous at times to see Bristowe kissing other guys, especially frontrunner Shawn Booth. And Ian Thomson, who quit the series during Monday night's broadcast, called Bristowe out for wanting to star as the Bachelorette solely because she could kiss so many men. Thomson additionally called Bristowe "shallow" and "surface-level."

"Yeah, I don't know if they forget what show they're on. Every season, I feel like it's the same thing, like, 'Oh my God, they're making out with so many people!' And I'm like, 'Well that's how you establish if there's a connection or chemistry.' So I'm not sure -- I understand that it's difficult, but it's going to happen," Bristowe said.
When asked more about her situation with Thomson, Bristowe commented that his ego was "a little bruised."
"According to Ian, it's not difficult for him to get women, and you know, I was thinking last night, 'I don't know if he took Chemistry at Princeton, but he failed because there was none there.' That was the problem!" Bristowe quipped with a huge laugh.
Last night, Bristowe sent out a tweet, addressing all the hype about her sexual encounter with Viall.
"Just remember, when you judge me, you do not define me, you define yourself. think about that before sending out negativity to any1 tonight," the Season 11 Bachelorette wrote.
