Garrett issued a formal publicly apology for his "mindless" double taps on Instagram, and Becca defended him as well, telling Entertainment Tonight that Bachelor Nation should give Garrett a chance and get to know him because such behavior does not reflect his true character.
But Rachel, the star of The Bachelorette's thirteenth season last year, apparently wants more from Garrett.
While sitting down with ET this week, Rachel admitted, "I want to hear more than just an apology. I want to hear an explanation."
It's likely Becca -- who is currently engaged -- chose Garrett at the end of her journey to find love given he's been a frontrunner from the start, so Rachel said she'd like to see the pair address the issue head on if they are together now.
"They have to talk about it. Becca's a liberal and the things he was liking were very conservative, far right, more than conservative [and] a little offensive," Rachel reasoned.

"So I think they need to address it now and have a game plan of how they're going to face the media."
Rachel insisted, "People will read through the BS -- don't try to cover it up and put a Band-Aid on it. just say what you did, why you did it. People will forgive you."
Rachel was involved in a social-media scandal herself last year, as one of her season's suitors, Lee Garrett, sparked outrage over his racist tweets. He also had to own and apologize for his remarks about liberals, terrorists and the Black Lives Matter movement.
"[I would handle it] probably the same way I did with Lee. I addressed it, I said, 'If you need a history lesson, I can give you one backstage.' That's how I would deal with it," Rachel recalled to ET of their confrontation at The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All.

"I would have to address it head-on and I'd be pretty tough about it."
