The Bachelorette's Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are inching their way to the altar, and Rachel couldn't be more excited.

Rachel, who starred on Season 13 of The Bachelorette, revealed to Entertainment Tonight she's ready to marry Bryan but their nuptials have been delayed because they want ABC to televise the event.

"A date is not set, but I know kind of how I want it to go. And now I'm in a place where if it's going to be on TV, it will look this way, and if it's not on TV, it will look like this. So I'm getting in that mindset," explained Rachel, who got engaged to Bryan last year.

"I really don't want to plan a wedding, so that's also there. So when people are like, 'Do you have details?' I'm like, 'Baby steps,' because I don't want to plan."

Rachel said wedding planning is just stressful and she never thought she's have "this big, grand wedding" to begin with.

"So now I know it could either go this way or this way, so we're getting closer," she said. "So it's unfortunately not up to us if we get the greenlight to do it [on television]."

Rachel elaborated, "There are a lot of moving parts, but we fell in love on TV and we met on TV. I feel a lot of people are invested in our love story; they want to see it come full circle. So I'm all about a TV wedding. It's just all about timing. Will the network give it to us? Will everything work together?"

Rachel therefore confirmed discussions are ongoing with producers to try to make a TV wedding happen.

Another issue with the logistics happens to be how Rachel wants to get married by a certain time and she's not willing to wait much longer.

"We're older. I like to call us the 'OGs' of The Bachelor, even though it was just last year. We're the older couple," Rachel told ET.

Rachel noted she'd like to tie the knot with Bryan by Spring 2019, so that's about nine months away.

"Ideally, I wanted a winter wedding. I wanted it in December, but as it's getting closer and plans haven't been put in place, it's looking more like next year, so really, the spring," Rachel disclosed.

"Because I want to have kids; I really want to start next year. I want more stability. We've been traveling so much. I want to create this family unit and a home for us."

Rachel said she and Bryan plan to try for kids right after they exchange vows next year.

"I really do [want that]! We've been having a great time. We've been traveling, and we live together. So we've already done the things I thought, 'I'll wait two years to get married.' We're already doing that. So it's like, 'Why wait? Let's have kids!'" Rachel gushed.

Rachel has even met with a famous bridal gown designer in New York, Randi Rahm, to design her perfect dress for the big day -- whenever that may turn out to be.

"I've been convinced I want pants. I want a very sexy pantsuit, and Bryan honestly doesn't care, but his mom does. My mom does, and so I'm getting into the dress mode," the former Bachelorette confessed.

But Rachel and Randi apparently came up with "a nice compromise with a dress and a pant."

Rachel took a lot of heat from The Bachelorette viewers after her season because it appeared she only accepted a marriage proposal from Bryan after her runner-up, Peter Kraus, expressed how he didn't feel it would be right for them to get engaged.

"I think a lot of people questioned what Bryan and I had, and through this last year, through time, they've seen that it is real. We connect," Rachel noted.

And now she and Bryan claim to be happier than ever, with Rachel telling ET her fiance proposed a second time while they were recently vacationing in Spain.

"It was so nice to go back there and recreate it and be there without cameras," Rachel shared of the location The Bachelorette's thirteenth-season finale was filmed. "We have so much in common, but we're also so different. There's a really good balance... We just laugh. We're goofy and silly together."
