The Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher cut three more bachelors during Monday night's second episode of the ABC reality dating series' twelfth season.

William "Will" Haduch, a 26-year-old civil engineer from Jersey City, NJ; Brandon Howell, a 28-year-old hipster from Los Angeles, CA; and James Spadafore, a 27-year-old Bachelor Super Fan from Phoenix, AZ, all failed to receive a rose from the 25-year-old real estate developer from Dallas, TX.

The Bachelorette broadcast began with Chad Johnson, a 28-year-old luxury real estate agent from Tulsa, OK, telling the cameras the other guys never got comfortable around beautiful women and weren't up to JoJo's caliber.

Host Chris Harrison explained to the group there would be two Group Dates and a single one-on-one date for the week. He then dropped off the season's first date card.

The first date card listed the following names of suitors: Will; James S; Luke Pell, a 31-year-old war veteran from Burnet, TX; Grant Kemp, a 28-year-old firefighter from San Francisco, CA; Evan Bass, a 33-year-old erectile dysfunction specialist from Nashville, TN; Daniel Maguire, a 31-year-old Canadian from Vancouver, B.C., Canada; Vincent "Vinny" Ventiera, a 28-year-old barber from Delray Beach, FL; Ali Zahiri, a 27-year-old bartender from Santa Monica, CA; Wells Adams, a 31-year-old radio DJ from Nashville, TN; and Robert "Robby" Hayes, a 27-year-old former competitive swimmer from Jacksonville, FL.

The guys accompanying JoJo on the first date walked outside of the mansion and discovered a limo on fire. The guys were shocked until a firetruck carrying JoJo in firemen's pants arrived and JoJo put out the fire herself with a big hose. JoJo's suitors thought she looked unbelievably hot in the outfit.

For the date, the men pulled up to a fire academy and were put through the paces of how real firefighters train. While 10 bachelors competed, the Top 3 would get to participate in the final event, and the winner would receive extra time with JoJo.

Grant is a firefighter in real life, so he was a real contender. Wells, on the other hand, got light-headed and needed a break. Although it was embarrassing, JoJo sat next to him to make sure he was alright, and so he got to spend some alone time with her.

Luke, Grant and Wells got to square off in the final stage of the competition. Wells was only picked to compete because he never gave up even though he basically passed out and couldn't handle the physical labor. The three guys had to complete a series of obstacles before trying to save JoJo at the top of a tower.

In the end, Grant won and Luke finished in second place. Luke was frustrated because the margin between victory and defeat was thin. Robby didn't like watching another man save the girl of his dreams.

During their alone time, Grant told JoJo he works as a firefighter because he likes helping people. JoJo appreciated his selfless attitude and said she has a lot of respect for what he does for a living. JoJo concluded their conversation with a big kiss.

The next date card revealed Derek Peth, a 29-year-old commercial banker from Ft. Lauderdale, FL, would be accompanying JoJo on the week's only one-on-one date.

When the night portion of the date commenced, Luke talked to JoJo about being in the military and how he was in a couple of long-term relationships, with the last having ended in 2013. Luke had feelings rushing back that he hasn't felt in forever. Luke was ready to be open with a woman, saying his connection with JoJo was real.

JoJo decided to give the date's rose to Wells because he stood out for trying really hard. Luke was hurt because he thought they shared a really romantic moment.

For her one-on-one date, JoJo and Derek went on a roadtrip and made spontaneous decisions along the way like "sky or sea." When they chose "sky," the couple hopped on a private jet and headed to San Francisco. Derek saw potential in a relationship with JoJo and developed a crush on her. JoJo gave Derek butterflies and he felt comfortable around her.

The pair then enjoyed a picnic by the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco instead of checking out Lombard Street. JoJo and Derek kissed and the suitor admitted he saw fireworks looking into her eyes.

Meanwhile, the bachelors were singing a song about JoJo in the mansion, and Chad thought it was ridiculous and immature. Chad bonded with Daniel over the fact they believed they were more manly men than anyone else, and Chad mentioned how JoJo shouldn't date nice guys because they tend to become "assh-les." Chad therefore considered himself a badboy and said the Bachelorette wouldn't want to date childish boys.

The next date card revealed the following men would be joining JoJo on a Group Date: Chad; Jordan Rodgers, a 27-year-old former pro quarterback from Chico, CA; Christian Bishop, a 26-year-old telecom consultant from Los Angeles, CA; Nick Benvenutti, a 33-year-old electrical engineer from Fort Lauderdale, FL; James Taylor, a 29-year-old singer/songwriter from Katy, TX; and Alex Woytkiw, a 26-year-old U.S. Marine from Oceanside, CA.

Chase McNary, a 27-year-old medical sale representative from Highlands Ranch, CO, didn't get a date, so he was really sad and disappointed. Chad made fun of the guys who were upset, saying they lived their whole lives without JoJo so it didn't make sense why they'd feel so upset not to see her.

Back on JoJo's one-on-one date, JoJo said in a confessional that Derek was kind and genuine. That night, Derek explained his last relationship ended a few years ago, and since then, it's been tough for him to open his heart up again. Derek was ready to marry his ex-girlfriend, but he said she got involved with another man. JoJo could relate to Derek's story, and he was really happy about making the decision to appear on the show.

JoJo gave Derek a rose and sealed the deal with a kiss.

For the second Group Date, JoJo and her men checked out the set of SportsNation in ESPN's headquarters. The hosts of the TV show, Max Kellerman and Marcellus Wiley, turned their show into BachelorNation and put the guys through a series of challenges to find out which man was most worthy of JoJo.

The guys were asked to spike a rose, propose, answer interview questions and more.

"The best thing about Jordan is his brother and the worst thing about Jordan is he's not his brother," Chad said of Jordan, referencing his older brother Aaron Rodgers, who is quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.

Alex called Chad "a toxic person" and hoped JoJo would see his true colors. When it became time for Chad to propose, instead of flattering JoJo with compliments and giving a nice explanation as to why he wants to spend his life with her, he simply asked flat out, "Will you marry me?"

JoJo said she would've liked to hear the things Chad loved about her, and then he replied, "You're starting off a little naggy here."

The comment shocked everyone, including JoJo, but Chad insisted he didn't want to suck up to her like the rest of the guys. Chad claimed he wasn't fake like everyone else, nor was he an actor like Jordan. JoJo wasn't sure why people were targeting Chad and if she had something to truly worry about.

Chad accused his competition of being on the show for the wrong reasons because they didn't know JoJo yet. He said no one could possibly be in love with the girl yet or truly believe she was the greatest girl in the world. JoJo liked how honest Chad was, but she questioned if it was a little too much.

The BachelorNation challenge ended with Max and Marcellus "power ranking" the guys. Alex finished third, Chad finished in second place because he was honest, and James T. won because he was a talented, nice guy.

"I have never met a group of guys so sensitive," Chad said in a confessional. "I do not care at all about what these guys think of me."

During the night portion of the Group Date, JoJo acknowledged James had qualities that would make for an amazing life partner, so she wanted to get to know him better. She realized he had a good heart. James said he wasn't as good looking as the rest of the guys, but he read her a beautiful letter that made her cry. James T. made his intentions known and it was clear they were pure.

Chad called the other guys "Cheeseballs" and made fun of Alex for being too short. Chad said Christian didn't know how to be real, James T. was like a high-schooler with a crush, Nick was trying too hard, and Jordan was a kiss-ass.

When Chad talked to JoJo -- who thought he was overcompensating for something -- the suitor revealed he hadn't been in a relationship for four years because he wanted to give a woman everything he had when in love. Chad said he has an adorable puppy at home and lost his mother, who was his best friend, six months prior. JoJo enjoyed seeing a more sensitive side to Chad, and the couple made a wish together in a well and kissed.

Going onto the show, Chad didn't think it would be possible to get that "giddy feeling," but he was developing real feelings for her. Alex clearly hated Chad, saying he was obsessed with being an "alpha male" and was a "douchebag."

JoJo decided to give the Group Date's rose to someone who made her feel really special, and that person was James T. JoJo's choice didn't make sense to Chad, so he was determined to get more time with the Bachelorette.

At the cocktail party, Chad waited for JoJo outside the mansion with a glass of wine for her. He admitted to JoJo he didn't like the feeling of being in a frat like the rest of the men. He got another kiss, and once the other suitors found out he snuck in some additional time with JoJo, Chad became Public Enemy No 1.

Chad vented to the cameras about how his relationship with JoJo was no one else' business.

Chase created a little mini date for JoJo, as he put gloves on her and made it snow. He wanted to bring a piece of his world to JoJo, insisting he had a decent understanding of what she wanted and deserved. There was an obvious spark there and Chase found JoJo very easy to talk to.

Meanwhile, Chad was eating so much food that the other men made fun of him for taking the term "meathead" to a whole new level. When Alex finally got some time in private with JoJo, Chad interrupted them to steal the Bachelorette away again. Alex called him "100% just a bad dude."

Chad told JoJo afterwards that he found himself thinking about her, and she liked the fact he was "mysterious."

When the guys approached Chad about "lurking" and "snaking" around, he said he didn't care about any of them. Chad joked about how the guys were like men straight out of West Side Story, snapping their fingers around him. He then added to the insult, saying they were like Carebears threatening to kick his ass.

Chad had fun messing around with people, but things came to a head once he stole JoJo away from Evan, who had barely gotten any time in with the Bachelorette. Evan was upset because he thought he could legitimately fall for JoJo. He wished he had pushed harder back at Chad.

Alex then asked Chad to stop making moves on JoJo because it was probably creeping her out. Chad said, "F-ck you for real," and threatened to knock Alex's teeth out. Alex claimed he wasn't scared of Chad and dubbed him the "most disrespectful dude in the house."

Chad figured that all of the guys were taking their jealousy and anger out on him. Before the Rose Ceremony commenced, JoJo admitted she was on her way to finding a great love like Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell's.

JoJo then handed a rose to Alex; Christian; Robby; Luke; Chase; Jordan; Grant; Ali; Daniel; James Fuertes, a 34-year-old boxing club owner from Nashville, TN; Nick; Vinny; Evan and Chad.

Alex said Chad getting a rose was "degrading" to what it meant.

Chad, however, noted that if he didn't get a rose, it would mean JoJo had issues -- not him. Going forward, Chad was dreading the guys singing more songs and writing more poems. He was just looking forward to protein shakes and eating food.
