The Bachelorette finale is almost here, and in an exclusive sneak peek, Robby Hayes asks JoJo Fletcher's parents "a really important question" in Thailand.

In the preview clip released by ABC, Hayes asks Fletcher's father for permission to propose marriage to his daughter while the Bachelorette's mother sits in for the conversation.
Hayes, a former competitive swimmer from Florida, gives a beautiful speech about his intentions and expectations.
"I'm here for Joelle, and I'm not going anywhere and she knows that," Hayes says. "She means the world to me, and I can sit here and honestly tell you both that she will be my No. 1 priority in all of life and in everything I do."
Hayes then addresses Fletcher's father directly.

"Dr. Fletcher, in asking for your blessing to marry Joelle today, I don't just want her hand in marriage, I want all that is Joelle Hannah Fletcher, because you guys have raised such a special girl. And if I'm fortunate enough to receive that blessing," Hayes says, as Fletcher's mom gets emotional, "I can promise you both to protect her, to care for her, to love her for my entire life."
Hayes continues, "And commitment is a lifetime thing. It will be through that blessing and in that commitment that I would be honored to be part of your family."
Fletcher's parents were not shown responding to Hayes' request in the clip, however, they seemed smitten with him. As Us Weekly previously reported, one man asked for permission to propose to Fletcher while the other Final 2 suitor did not. It may be safe to say, therefore, that Jordan Rodgers failed to take the traditional approach.
Fletcher's love story on television comes to an end August 1, and regardless of whom she picks, she'll be saying goodbye to one man she truly loves on The Bachelorette.
