The Bachelorette star Charity Lawson has confirmed her fiery social-media slam about a "misogynistic" man "bashing women for views" was about Nick Viall, and now she's directly calling him out.

Earlier this week, Charity wrote on her Instagram Stories, "Maybe it's time we stop getting dating advice from unqualified TV personalities who like bashing women for the sake of views. Misogynistic men: now that's icky behavior."

While Charity didn't identify the Season 21 The Bachelor star as the target of her shade, many fans automatically assumed the message was directed at Nick because he had criticized Charity on one of his "The Viall Files" podcast episodes. Nick also penned an advice book and gives dating advice on his podcast.

Charity admitted she was firing back at Nick with her post during the July 27 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.

"I will start off with a disclaimer: I have only listened to two [episodes], and not even fully or all the way through -- I don't want to give him that much credit," Charity told "Bachelor Happy Hour" co-hosts Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.

"But [I've listened] to two of Nick Viall's podcasts, and some of his takes on my season, it's just very interesting because I feel like it's extremely harsh at times."

Charity said that while "opinions don't really matter," Nick managed to offend her.

"It's to the point where [his views] are so vastly different from, clearly, what the rest of America is seeing," Charity claimed.

"And it's like, I don't know if you, [Nick], have something against me. I don't know you and I've never met you, but [I have an issue with] some of the verbiage you used."

Charity went on to rattle off specific examples of what she found insulting.

"[You saying] I have extreme and ridiculous 'Pick Me' energy and I'm a recovering Pick Me, and saying I like 'pretty guys' and that's why I would never end up with certain cast members," Charity recalled.

Charity said distinguishing which contestants are "pretty guys" was "also disrespectful to" those guys on her season.

"It's just a reach. It's a reach. And we know why he's doing it! Because obviously it's click bait and it gets people to listen in," Charity vented.

"But he can find someone else to do that with because it's not welcome over here."

Charity dropped the microphone and concluded, "So sorry, Nick!"

On Nick's July 18 episode of "The Viall Files," he called out Aaron Bryant and Xavier Bonner -- two of Charity's Final 4 bachelors -- as "f-ck boys" who aren't "ready to settle down any time soon."

Nick laughed in saying, "Charity loves a f-ck boy," and he went as far as to call her "a f-ck boy magnet."

Nick also insisted that the sweet and kind Dotun Olubeko had no shot to win Charity's heart against Xavier, whom Charity found the most physically attractive and alluring, according to Nick.

"I feel bad for Dotun because he is pitching a perfect game. He is doing everything right. He is so endearing and he doesn't stand a f-cking chance to Xavier!" Nick claimed.

Nick added of Dotun and Charity's romance, "It's over. It's over. It's absolutely over!... Dotun is handsome, nice and great -- but she loves a pretty boy! It's so obvious... I think it's already over and I think that she's already decided on Xavier."

Nick went on to add that Charity and Xavier clearly had "intangible" chemistry and that Charity was essentially looking for any good reason to keep him around longer.

"It doesn't matter how much time she gets with any of them -- she will only get to know the very tip of the iceberg of any of these men. But she can trust her eyes, and her eyes tell her that she wants to f-ck Xavier the most," Nick claimed.

Nick also expressed his opinion that Dotun was pursuing Charity on The Bachelorette while Charity was pursuing Xavier.

Nick suggested that Dotun had made it clear he liked Charity for all the right reasons while Xavier acted more mysterious and played hard to get. Nick therefore thought Charity WANTED Xavier to like her.

"Question -- a bit controversial: Is Charity a recovering Pick Me?" Nick asked his co-hosts.

"It's someone who's default is to prioritize being picked [by] someone that they've decided in their mind that they really like -- usually by superficial looks, chemistry or the spark -- and prioritize feeling picked and validated by that person rather than building a strong, mutual emotional connection based off of actual compatibility?"

In addition to his The Bachelor stint, Nick also appeared on two The Bachelorette seasons and one Bachelor in Paradise edition.

Nick is currently engaged to a woman outside of Bachelor Nation, a surgical technician named Natalie Joy, after his The Bachelor 21 engagement to Vanessa Grimaldi didn't work out.
