The Bachelorette star Jenn Tran has revealed that the police were almost called on her for loudly crying over an ex-boyfriend.

Jenn has been very open on The Bachelorette's 21st season about how she had many "toxic" and unhealthy relationships prior to appearing on Joey Graziadei's season of The Bachelor.

Jenn has discussed being put into a box, lied to, and cheated on in her past. During college, for instance, Jenn dated her boss at the restaurant where she worked, and she discovered that he had a girlfriend living with him during their entire six-month romance.

During a recent appearance on the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast, Jenn shared a story about one man, in particular, who had really crushed her heart.

"Kaitlyn, what are you doing to me?!" Jenn vented to the Season 11 The Bachelorette star when asked to share her most embarrassing story ever.

"The last time I was in Nashville was three years ago, when I met my very, very toxic ex-boyfriend."

While Jenn was flying to Nashville for her interview with Kaitlyn, she decided to clear out her photo albums, tags, emails, and notes on her phone.

"I was thinking about that relationship... I was clearing out my Notes app, and naturally, I had, like, 10 essays from three years ago when I was in a very bad relationship," Jenn recalled.

Jenn grew up in New Jersey and attended college in Pittsburgh before transferring to a different university in Wisconsin. After college, Jenn moved to Boston for a couple of years, and her family still lives there.

Jenn then moved to Miami, FL, to attend school to be a physician assistant.

"When you're in a bad relationship, you write essays to the guy because they're not giving you everything that you want. So I'm reading through these, and I thought of when we broke up," Jenn said.

Jenn revealed that this man had just helped her move to Miami. (Jenn later took a leave of absence to film The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, but she plans to return and receive her degree at some point).

"He went back to New York and we were having a bit of a rough patch, but the whole relationship was really rough," Jenn admitted.

"So it was just like not a good relationship, and how he broke up with me was we were on FaceTime having a little bit of a tiff over something, and he was like, 'I'm not doing this anymore. I don't think we should continue dating.' And yeah!"

Jenn recalled, "[He was just] like, 'I don't want to talk to you anymore.' And then he hangs up the phone and doesn't give me an explanation. He doesn't give me anything."

Jenn said she had dated this man for an entire year and so they were pretty serious by this point.

"Naturally I was, like, beside myself. I was like, 'What just happened?! This doesn't make any sense to me!' I was calling, calling, calling. He wasn't answering," The Bachelorette star confessed.

"He wasn't texting me. He just dropped off the face of the Earth essentially for a whole week."

Kaitlyn called Jenn's ex-boyfriend "a classic little coward," and Jenn agreed.

"So for that whole week, I was really upset and I was crying in my apartment. I lived in a one-bedroom at the time. Every single night and day, I'd wake up, I'd be crying, I'd go to school, I'd go home, and then I'd be crying again," Jenn admitted.

Jenn said she didn't know how to control her emotions and so she just let all of her feelings pour out of her.

"There are criers, there are ugly criers, and then there's me -- screaming criers!" Jenn quipped.

"It sounded like the purge. It was like I was possessed and trying to get something out of me for hours at a time."

At the end of the week, somebody knocked on Jenn's door and asked, "What the hell is going on in here?! We've been hearing screams for the past week."

Jenn said she was mid-crying when this person confronted her.

"I was tearing up, and she was like, 'Is there somebody in here with you? Is somebody hitting you? Are you okay? We're going to have to call the cops!'" Jenn recalled.

"And I was like, 'No, no! Everything is fine. I'm just upset. I'm so sorry. I have no idea what's going on.' And she threatened to call the cops on me! She was like, 'This has got to stop!'"

Jenn acknowledged her crying noises were "that bad" and she was "so embarrassed" about the whole ordeal.

"I was like, 'I didn't know how thin the walls were!'" Jenn told Kaitlyn. "It's funny now, but in the moment, I was like, 'Oh my gosh.'"

Kaitlyn, in turn, revealed that she had experienced something similar. When Kaitlyn and an ex-boyfriend were breaking up, the police were called and had to split them up to calm them down.

"It's okay to scream and cry," Jenn concluded, not apologizing for the release. "And ever since then, I never screamed and cried again. I just needed seven days straight of it [to move on]."

But Jenn moved "immediately" after that event and hated running into this woman at the mailbox.

Jenn was admittedly attracted to men who only had one foot in the door and didn't treat her the way that she deserves to be treated. She said she had "picked so many" bad guys over the years.

"I've gone through a lot of therapy... and what I think is that I'm so addicted to someone not giving me everything because I've been so used to working for things in my life -- working for love, affection and success," Jenn acknowledged on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast earlier this year.

"I like guys who don't give me everything all at once because I've been so used to that environment... In a lot of my relationships, I really went towards people who gave me that fight or flight feeling. They'd give [love] to me and then take it back. [There was that] toxicity."

Jenn's The Bachelorette season premiered July 8 on ABC, and she has 12 bachelors remaining heading into Episode 4 of Season 21.

Based on a preview of what's to come this season, one of Jenn's ex-boyfriends shows up and attempts to join her cast of bachelors and win her over.
