"I feel like Aaron really wasted your time. I feel like he owes you an apology," Nick told Jenn.

Aaron, a 29-year-old aerospace engineer from Tulsa, OK, decided to quit The Bachelorette in order to begin fight-pilot training, a dream he had been trying to achieve for almost two years.
Jenn understood Aaron's decision and was gracious about it, but before he left, Aaron dropped a bombshell on Jenn that some of her bachelors weren't ready to get engaged and some of her men were on the show for the wrong reasons.
Jenn desperately and repeatedly asked Aaron to identify names, but Aaron refused.
"I would challenge that [Aaron] knew the whole time that he had to leave early... And he got in your head and made you insecure about the other men and question their intentions," Nick vented.
"Nothing about his time on the show meant he was sincere about getting to know you. I think, as such, he owes you an apology."
"Yeah!" Jenn replied on "The Viall Files" podcast. "I don't disagree."
Jenn went on to say, "The whole book thing," referring to when Aaron had gifted Devin Strader a book on emotional intelligence, "I wouldn't have thought anything of it, had it not already been done by his brother [Noah Erb on a prior The Bachelorette season]."
Nick referred to the book as a silly "prop," and Jenn admitted she had "so many things" to say about Aaron's behavior on her The Bachelorette season.
"Here's the thing: I was so happy for Aaron to go and pursue his dream, you know? I was like, 'Great, you should go do that. No hard feelings.' But then when he was like, 'I have something to tell you,' and he didn't fully tell me who it was, it was like, then, in that moment, you're doing it for your own reasons!" Jenn explained.

"That felt selfish to me, because you're putting a damper on my journey for what reason? If you truly thought that I could figure it out for myself, then you would've just let me figure it out for myself and you wouldn't have to tell me a thing!"

Jenn therefore reiterated how it was "very selfish" of Aaron to stir up chaos before his exit.
"It just made me angry because I had to address it. And I didn't need that! It didn't need to be like that. He could've just left and I would've been so happy for him," Jenn noted.
Aaron chose to leave The Bachelorette before the third Rose Ceremony of the season. He made the decision after failing to receive a "stamp of validation," aka a rose, from Jenn on their prior group date at the race track.
Aaron explained to Jenn at a cocktail party, "I wish I was further along where I felt like, 'As long as I have Jenn in my life, I'm happy,' and I'm just not there yet. So I made the decision that the dreams and aspirations I have, I am choosing those."
Jenn pointed out how she'd never want to be a source of resentment for him and so it made sense for him to leave. Jenn insisted that she wanted to support the bachelor in his endeavors and never hold him back.
"I care about you, and I want you to know that there are so many good guys here," Aaron said in reply.

Aaron's disclosure left Jenn feeling confused and surprised.
"They're not ready or they're here for the wrong reasons?" Jenn asked.
"Both," Aaron responded. "Some aren't ready. Some may not be here for the right reasons."

Jenn asked Aaron if someone was treating The Bachelorette like a game, but he dodged the question.
Jenn said she didn't know what was going on because she felt a genuine connection with a lot of the guys who were competing for her. Aaron claimed he cared about Jenn but it was up to her to find out who was truly there for the right reasons.
Aaron ended the chat by telling Jenn to "be careful," and she was clearly angry. Jenn dubbed it a "disingenuous conversation" because he wouldn't tell her which people were in question.
Jenn subsequently confronted her bachelors and announced about a potential engagement, "I need you to sit here and really think about it. This is my life. I've made wrong decisions in the past, and I'm not going to do that anymore."
Jenn added, "So if you think this is a place where you should not be, then you need to get out."
Many of Jenn's bachelors rushed to her side to comfort and reassure her.
"I immediately thought that Aaron was talking about Devin, and I wanted him to just say it!" Jenn vented on the August 1 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast.
"I wasn't blind, I knew that they had beef from the ice-cream situation. So I wasn't dumb, but I was like, 'If you're going to [drop a bombshell], man up and [be specific]."

"I'm glad no one wasted our time telling me what was going on. But yeah, it's kind of crazy!" Jenn concluded.
