The couple conquered trust issues while filming the show only to then battle intense criticism and unflattering tabloid reports once the season premiered on TV. Jordan was labeled a fraud and cheater, and JoJo was bashed for falling in love with men who had selfish intentions.
But now, JoJo and Jordan are in love, and they don't feel the need to prove that to anybody. Their next step? Jordan is moving to her hometown in Dallas, TX.
In a recent interview, the couple talked to reporters about their experience on the show and future together. Below is what they had to say.
Do you guys maybe have plans for a televised wedding or anything like that?
JoJo Fletcher: I mean, to be honest, we haven't totally gotten to that point yet where we are discussing all of it. We're just kind of getting to settle a little bit.
So I think once we kind of decompress, take it all in, that's something that we would be open to if it made sense. And either way, we'd be still looking forward to it.
Were there ever moments throughout the season you were just about to say, "I love you," to Jordan and stopped yourself?
JoJo Fletcher: Yeah. I mean, there were so many moments along the way where it would have been a natural reaction to just say it and to blurt it out. But I held back because of a promise that I made to myself at the beginning of this whole thing.
And whether or not, you know, things panned out exactly how I would have expected it to, I'm glad that I held off saying that until the last day. But it was definitely hard.
There were so many moments where I was, you know, just falling so in love and having Jordan kind of express his feelings, I wanted to share that with him. But I also knew that it would have meant that much more in that final day to be able to tell him that.
What has been the most surprising or weird thing you guys have learned about each other since the show wrapped?

JoJo Fletcher: So many weird things. People keep asking me this and I'm trying to give new ones. But for me, personally, he's so much weirder than I ever thought he was. And I love it so much. But he's super quirky and weird. He does a weird accent. He breaks out in song and dance every now and then, which I also do.
Jordan Rodgers: I was going to say for the amount she says she's not a good dancer, it's amazing how much she practices around the house and/or baby talks a little bit. And she has an obsession with refried beans.
JoJo Fletcher: Oh my gosh. Anyway! (Laughs)
Have you guys talked about a plan for having kids? Do you want children?
JoJo Fletcher: Yes.
Jordan Rodgers: Absolutely.
JoJo Fletcher: Yes, I mean, I obviously want kids. He wants kids. I think we have some time to spare.
Jordan Rodgers: Get married. Enjoy being married.

So now that you're a few months into your engagement, how has your love evolved? And what do you guys love most about each other these days?
Jordan Rodgers: I love most how, I mean, we were so natural with each other before, but what she said earlier about the quirks, like just finding out how weird and quirky we are and how much we love that about each other as in...
JoJo Fletcher: Laugh a lot.
Jordan Rodgers: We laugh a lot. And I think that is -- we just have a really fun relationship, and that hasn't faded. And I don't see that fading at all. That's one of the things that really grounds us and that we enjoy most about each other.
But just, I mean, like communication. You go through a whole show where there's no cell phones, no texting or calling. There's no TV or internet. You got to learn how to communicate not only face to face, but then you're kind of separate for while. And then you're engaged and you have this big secret.
You really learn a lot about each other and how to communicate with each other that way. And that has only made us, I think, that much stronger, you know, sitting here now, looking back.
What rules will be implemented at your wedding for the guests?
JoJo Fletcher: I don't even know.
Jordan Rodgers: I would say that you come prepared with a duet karaoke song...
JoJo Fletcher: Oh boy.
Jordan Rodgers: ... just in case the dance floor turns into that at some points. And that's about the only rule I have. And I want people to have fun.
JoJo Fletcher: Yes.

JoJo Fletcher: They're excited.
Jordan Rodgers: Yes, they're excited. It's going to be -- I don't know. There's not going to be any rules. Come, show up.
JoJo Fletcher: Rules. There are no rules.
Jordan Rodgers: Enjoy yourself.
JoJo Fletcher: I say that now, and I'll probably regret it. (Laughs)
Jordan Rodgers: And if an impromptu duet karaoke comes up, you better have a song prepared.
Now that you're moving to Dallas, Jordan, are you going to convert to a Cowboys fan?
Jordan Rodgers: That's not out of the question. I know her family has already been heavily persuading me in that direction. So I imagine that's coming shortly, yes.
If I wanted to see you, Jordan, on as a sports analyst, are you with ESPN or that sister network SEC Network?
Jordan Rodgers: You know the SEC Network. That's a conference I played in. That's kind of my knowledge base. It's obviously a company within ESPN, but yes, I'll be working with SEC exclusively.
So you haven't started the job at SEC yet?

What type of sports broadcasting have you done in the past?
Jordan Rodgers: I was with a lot of different companies, just some work with Fox and Bleach Report in the past, radio was consistently with ESPN out of Nashville. I did some podcasts for Vanderbilt football and some other football podcasts. So yes, it's been a passion of mine. I enjoy football. I enjoy staying around it.
