"My date with Robby!... Robby really is a great balance of playful and flirty and sensitive. And how about that body? Uh, perfection. Did I plan this date just to see Robby strip down and jump in the water with me? Hmmmm," Fletcher wrote in her People blog.
When the couple sat down for a romantic dinner, Hayes basically shared his personal motto with Fletcher, that tomorrow should be cherished because it's never guaranteed.
Hayes became obsessed with this theory after his best childhood friend tragically died, so he eventually moved out of the city, dumped a long-term girlfriend and quit his job before appearing on The Bachelorette.
"That night, when Robby opened up about his friend passing away, it touched me. Life really is short. And unpredictable. Let's all remember that," Fletcher said.
Hayes truly opened up to Fletcher on their date, later revealing how deep his feelings had grown for her in such a short period of time.
"When Robby told me loved me, I was stunned," Fletcher confessed.
"I knew he had strong feelings for me, but I had no idea he was in love with me. It felt so good hearing those words, especially from someone like Robby who is so honest and sincere. Those are strong words -- and ones I don't take lightly."
Fletcher could see herself falling in love with Hayes in return. She felt safe, comfortable and confident when in his presence. She also trusted everything that he told her.
"Kissing Robby on the beach that night, knowing he loved me, just made me believe that all of this was going to work for me," Fletcher wrote.
