The Bachelorette star Michelle Young has dished on three bachelors to watch, men whom viewers should definitely keep an eye on this season.

For starters, Michelle called out Clayton Echard, a 28-year-old medical sales representative from Columbia, MO, who is widely reported to be the next The Bachelor star for Season 26 in early 2022.
(ABC has yet to formally confirm his Bachelor casting, even though potential bachelorettes have already been announced and the season is currently filming).

"Clayton's a sweetheart," Michelle told Entertainment Tonight ahead of The Bachelorette's eighteenth season, which premieres Tuesday at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

"I think you'll really get to know him a little bit," Michelle added of Clayton.
Michelle also teased that the "apple of my eye" is Rodney Mathews, a 29-year-old sales representative from Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
"There's a lot to see there," Michelle noted of Rodney.
And Michelle also gave a shout out to Jamie Skaar, a 32-year-old biotech CEO from San Diego, CA.
Michelle revealed pretty matter-of-factly that Jamie accompanied her on the "first one-on-one" date of Season 18.

"There is going to be a lot for you to see," Michelle added. "There are so many amazing men [and] I think all of the viewers are going to be on their toes."
Michelle, a 28-year-old fifth-grade teacher and former Division I basketball player from Edina, MN, began filming her season in late July at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, CA.
Michelle introduced herself to 30 diverse and handsome bachelors on Night 1 of the process.

When asked what she's looking for in a partner, Michelle shared, "Somebody that can challenge me intellectually, somebody who will support me, and somebody who also has dreams of their own and is very intrinsically motivated."

"The biggest thing is that this comes with the spotlight," she told ET, "and I want somebody who doesn't care about that spotlight."
Michelle apparently wants a man who can "keep a good head" on his shoulders and "stay humble" through their televised journey. She hopes her future husband will "really just work to serve others."
"I'm grateful to have had this experience and I'm just really looking forward to finally share this entire process with everybody," Michelle said.
Michelle handed out roses shortly after being dumped by The Bachelor's Season 25 star Matt James in second place, but she has insisted multiple times she was "ready" to find The One.
"There are so many different emotions involved throughout the entire season and it is going to be a little mixture of everything -- excitement, nerves, all of it, [being] overwhelmed, everything!" Michelle teased of what's to unfold on Season 18.

Michelle aspires to build a relationship similar to the love her parents share.

"Growing up just with my parents, seeing how they treated each other through stressful times, I mean life is not always easy but the fact that they have been married for so long and they still laugh so hard? I am not going to settle for anything less," Michelle explained.
"That is what I am going to look for."
The Bachelorette star wants a romance that will not last forever, and fizzle or lose passion.
"Finding a relationship where it is not going to fade out [is what I want]," Michelle said.
"You can't predict everything that is going to happen to you in your relationship but knowing that I have a person that is going to stick it out and has that same mindset is incredibly important."
After Matt eliminated Michelle as his runner-up on The Bachelor earlier this year, Michelle was announced on After the Final Rose in March as one of two The Bachelorette stars -- along with Katie Thurston -- for back-to-back seasons in 2021.
Michelle admitted she was absolutely crushed and "not okay" when Matt chose to send her packing after he had met her family towards the end of the dating process.
Although she wished she had more closure from Matt by that point, Michelle said she was "nervous" and "excited" to get on with her own journey to find her perfect match.
