Original The Bachelorette star Trista Rehn has revealed whether she'd appear on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette in its current form, now that the show has evolved so much since her 2003 season.

But if given the chance to do the show in recent years, The Bachelorette Season 1 star isn't sure she'd be up for it.
"They'll always be family. That said, I definitely don't know if I had been given the opportunity to do it now with social media and all of the pressures that are in the world these days," Trista shared with Fox News Digital in an interview published on Tuesday.
Many bachelors and bachelorettes face backlash and nasty comments from fans of the show on social media.
Kaitlyn Bristowe was sex-shamed and bullied on The Bachelorette's eleventh season, Clayton Echard said he received death threats amid The Bachelor's 26th season, and Teddi Wright recently called Bachelor in Paradise a "cruel" environment.
Trista therefore explained, "I don't know if I would have had the gumption to really even apply just knowing what people go through."
"But thankfully," she continued, "you know, we were on the show when it was relatively innocent and we were still trying to kind of find our way and figure out what it actually was."
Trista said she's "really grateful" to have starred on the series so many years ago, when the reality dating show was just starting out on ABC.
"I'm really grateful for the show," the mother of two reiterated. "I will always be a fan."
Trista just celebrated her 50th birthday in Curacao with Ryan, whom she's been married to for a whopping 19 years.
"I think there are lots of things that go into what makes a successful marriage," Trista shared.

Trista called her The Bachelorette winner her "best friend" and "biggest cheerleader," adding, "Hopefully he feels that way about me, too."
"There is not really a big secret. I feel like it's out there, and it's just a matter of staying committed to each other," Trista concluded.
When Trista and Ryan reached the milestone of 19 years of marriage earlier this month, Trista gushed on social media, "It doesn't matter if we're at home in the mountains or taking in the Caribbean sunshine... he still makes me happy (I mean...hello hot hubby!)"
"I'm a lucky girl, but not just because he is a real life Clark Kent. He's genuine, thoughtful, brave, caring, adventurous, hysterical, kind hearted, clever, and does so much for our family!)" she gushed.
Ryan also uploaded a heartfelt post of his own.
"I suppose if there was ever a reason to create a post, it would be to tell the world how much I love this woman... I love her a lot," Ryan wrote.

Trista and Ryan have two children together: Max, 14, and Blakesley, 12.

The couple has overcome a lot together, including Ryan's recent health crisis and major surgeries.
Prior to starring as the Bachelorette, Trista found fame when she competed on Alex Michel's season of The Bachelor in 2002.
Trista then chose Ryan at the Final Rose Ceremony of her The Bachelorette season over runner-up Charlie Maher.
Ryan proposed marriage to Trista on The Bachelorette's first-season finale, which aired in February 2003 and drew over 30 million viewers on ABC.
Trista, a former Dancing with the Stars and Fear Factor contestant, changed her last name from Rehn to Sutter when she married Ryan in December 2003 in a televised special.
Trista & Ryan's Wedding's two-hour finale -- which featured the couple's wedding ceremony and reception at the Lodge in Rancho Mirage resort in Palm Springs, CA -- drew over 17 million viewers when it aired on ABC on December 10, 2003.
Trista and Ryan welcomed their son Maxwell in July 2007 followed by their daughter Blakesley in April 2009.
