The couple met while filming The Biggest Loser's ninth season in 2009, and then Poueu proposed to Anderson during an episode of the NBC reality weight-loss competition, which aired in October 2010.
In September 2011, Poueu tragically fell four stories down a fire escape and was hospitalized in critical condition.
Poueu had "suffered many serious internal injuries and a trauma to the right side of his head," according to a statement released to People at the time. He reportedly underwent an intense rehabilitation schedule and progressed slowly but surely. Anderson remained at his side throughout his "grueling three-month" recovery.
The couple then wed in April 2012 in San Francisco, CA. According to Us Weekly, they had 27 people in their wedding party -- including 16 bridesmaids and groomsmen.
The bride wore a white Vera Wang dress complete with a princess-seam bodice and floral motif design on the skirt, while Poueu sported a Vera Wang black tuxedo. They reportedly exchanged vows in the same church Anderson's parents had married in 40 years ago.
