"I don't feel like I let my wife down at all by going home the week after she did, because I said to her, 'I'm going to work hard and I did that. I left it all on that gym floor. Six weeks ago, I embraced that I'm fat and that's just who I'm going to be, and now I don't want to be fat anymore. I'm not going to be fat anymore. I'm a new person. I'm a whole new man," Q said following his elimination.
The Biggest Loser: Couples' sixth eleventh-season episode began where last week's broadcast left off following the elimination of Q's wife Larialmy Allen, a 26-year-old student services program coordinator also from Columbia, SC.
Larialmy was voted out of The Biggest Loser: Couples by the "unknowns" contestants who had received immunity from the competition's first four weigh-ins since they had been training off-site with new trainers Brett Hoebel and Cara Castronuova rather than at the ranch with Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels.
Both groups of contestants then met with The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney, who revealed that the "unknowns" training with Brett and Cara would become the Red team, while the teams training with Bob and Jillian would become either the Blue team or the Black team, and they opted to wear black. The teams learned they would be going head to head, and it started with a temptation challenge.
The Red team and the Black team learned they must choose between "power of love" or "love of power" in a Valentine's Day challenge that required each member of both teams to spend three minutes alone in a room full of chocolates and treats and choose to eat whatever they desired.
Whichever contestant ate the most chocolate would win the ability to switch two players on their own team for two players from the other team, or opt out of the option completely. The name of the winner of the temptation challenge would also be kept a secret, as only the verdict would be revealed to everyone.
Many contestants chose to not eat any chocolate, while Moses Kinikini, a 47-year-old garage door installer from Shelley, ID, and Arthur Wornum, a 34-year-old stay-at-home-dad and day care provider from Portland, OR, decided to play and try to win the power. Moses ate 21 chocolates, but Arthur beat him by eating 35 chocolates.
Arthur won the challenge and decided to make a swap, switching his Black team members Jennifer Jacobs, a 28-year-old digital media entrepreneur from Long Branch, NJ, and her father Jay Jacobs, a 53-year-old entrepreneur from West Orange, NJ, for Red team members Sarah Nitta, a 27-year-old college admissions counselor from Las Vegas, NV, and her mother Denise "Deni" Hill, a 59-year-old administrative assistant from Bountiful, UT.
Although Arthur's identity as the winner would have remained undisclosed, he decided to share his reasoning behind his choice to switch up the teams. He said in a confessional that he simply did not trust Jen and Jay, but announced to the teams that he and his father Jesse Wornum, a 61-year-old insurance agent also from Portland, OR, were vulnerable to be sent home if they fell below the yellow line at the subsequent weigh-in.
Therefore, Arthur's team gained the weakest players from the Red team and gave the Red team the strongest members from his team in return. Arthur believed his Black team's newcomers would be the most likely to lose the least amount of weight and voted out of the competition, putting targets on their backs, while such a move would save his family of seven players.
However, Arthur's plan backfired because his Black team was extremely angry at his decision for getting rid of their strongest players, which would put them at a disadvantage at the upcoming weigh-ins. The team members were also said because they felt they had bonded as a family, and Arthur broke up their alliance for useless reasons. The Black team then decided Arthur actually became the target, and Bob and Jillian were shocked at his poor choice of action.

Brett and Cara's Red team and Bob and Jillian's Black team then participated in their first joint workout in gym at The Biggest Loser ranch. The next day, both teams met with Alison and learned they would be competing in a challenge.
The challenge required the teams to compete in five challenges testing their endurance, speed, knowledge, agility and strength. Each time a couple finished a section, they would receive a present, and once all sections and tasks were completed and all presents were opened, the winning team would receive videos from their loved ones at home. The Black team ended up winning the challenge.
Later on, The Biggest Loser: Couples first Red vs. Black weigh-in and sixth elimination weigh-in -- but only second elimination weigh-in the unknowns had participated in --commenced.
Alison explained that the team with highest percentage of weight-loss would be safe from elimination, but the other team would have to send one person home. However, the member on the losing team with the highest percentage of weight loss would also receive immunity. The Red team training with Brett and Cara were the first contestants to step on the scale.
Jay lost 14 after he dropped from 331 to 317 pounds. Jen started off the week weighing 232 pounds and fell to 218 pounds after losing 14 pounds as well.

Q dropped from 385 pounds to 378 pounds and lost only seven pounds.

The Black team lost a combined total of 99 pounds and posted a 4.38% weight-loss percentage. The Black team won the weigh-in, putting someone on the Red team up for elimination.
After deliberating, the Red team arrived for their second elimination ceremony. Jen -- who posted the highest weight-loss percentage out of the Red team -- received immunity and would not be able to be voted out of the competition.
Jen, Jay, Ken, Moses and Justin all voted to oust Q from The Biggest Loser: Couples, as he posted the lowest weight-loss percentage out of the group, and Q voted for Jay.
In a post-elimination update, Q started The Biggest Loser: Couples weighing 437 pounds and now weighs 345 pounds. He said he brought his wife to the gym for his Valentine's day surprise to her, symbolizing the commitment he has made to her to follow through with becoming healthier mentally and physically, while maintaining that goal for the rest of his life.
