The Biggest Loser: Couples' entire fourth-edition cast survived elimination during Tuesday night's broadcast of the NBC reality weight-loss series' eleventh overall season.

"You didn't just beat them. You destroyed them. You beat them by 11 pounds which is exactly how much they beat you by last week. Congratulations, you're all here for one more week and congratulations on your $10,000," The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney told the 11 remaining contestants training on the ranch with Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels after they completed their Week 2 weigh-in.
The Biggest Loser's second eleventh-season episode began where the premiere had left off -- following the departure of Ana Alvarado, a 50-year-old USPS letter carrier from Portland, OR, who had been ousted at the season's first elimination vote.
The next day, Alison met with the five teams and Irene, a 26-year-old student also from Portland, OR -- who was left to compete by herself after her mother Ana was sent home -- training on The Biggest Loser campus. She announced the contestants paired with Bob and Jillian on the ranch would receive immunity for the second week if they lost enough weight to satisfy a Week 2 twist.
The teams learned they would have to collectively lose a higher total weight-loss percentage as a group than the five teams working out with the unknown trainers off-campus -- who were already promised four initial weeks of immunity and beat the on-campus teams' weight-loss percentage total last week -- to be safe from elimination at their second weigh-in. In addition, the winning group would receive $10,000.

Both groups then participated in their workouts, and the competition grew fierce. Along the way, the "unknowns" also attempted to taunt Bob and Jillian's on-campus teams by sending them a tempting box of donuts.
Afterward, all the contestants met with The Biggest Loser physician Dr. Rob Huizenga and received intensive medical evaluations, where tests were conducted and bad news about their health was delivered.
The teams training on the ranch then met with Alison and learned they would be competing against the unknowns in the second week's challenge. The five teams and Irene would have to get everyone from the beach across a canal by building a bridge using rafts. The unknowns completed the challenge before the on-campus teams arrived and finished with a time of 38 minutes and 23 seconds.
Whichever group completed the challenge in the fastest time would win a three-pound advantage at the week's weigh-in. Jillian and Bob's team ended up losing the challenge and the advantage they felt they really needed at the weigh-in.
The teams then had their last chance workouts before their second weigh-in. Jillian was not feeling well, leaving Bob with the responsibility to giving the ranch teams everything he could while she was absent.

Later on, the weigh-in for Week 2 commenced with the six teams that had trained with Bob and Jillian. Alison explained that the teams would earn a third week at The Biggest Loser ranch if they beat the unknowns weight-loss percentage, but if they fail to do so, one member or team would subsequently be eliminated based on votes cast by the other contestants. Meanwhile, Jillian was still not well enough to take part in the weigh-in.
The five teams who trained with the two unknown trainers were still safe from elimination and therefore, their weight loss was irrelevant and they were not present at the weigh-in. However, Alison revealed that unknowns member Rulon Gardner, a 39-year-old gym owner and motivational speaker also from Bountiful, UT, came out on top again by losing 17 pounds, while Moses Kinikini, a 47-year-old garage door installer from Shelley, ID, lost 12 pounds.
The unknowns lost a total of 79 pounds, but the number increased to 82 because of the three-pound advantage they won from the challenge, giving them an overall 2.46% weight-loss percentage.
Meanwhile, Bob got upset when Alison told his teams that they were "destroyed" last week by the unknowns when comparing how much weight each group lost. Bob said his teams may be the underdogs, but justified their initial rough start by explaining they had a tough time. He also said his group had the heart to work hard and eventually succeed in losing their desired weight.
Alison agreed and continued on with the weigh-in. She told the on-campus trainees that they would need to lose more than 78 pounds to beat the unknowns, which was the equivalent to about seven pounds per contestant. The six teams that trained with Bob and Jillian then stepped on the scale for their second elimination weigh-in.
