"This has been a great experience and I'm just forever grateful for The Biggest Loser and everybody here -- the friendships and the people that I've met along the way, and just the experience, to be surrounded by athletes. It was definitely a dream come true for me," Rondalee said following her ouster.
At Comeback Canyon, veteran trainer Bob Harper works with two contestants, who get the boot from the ranch, every week. At the end of each week, there's a separate weigh-in after which the person with the highest percentage of weight-loss gets to stay at the canyon for another week and the losing contestant must go home for good.
Eventually, Bob will take only one contestant back to the ranch so they can rejoin the original competition and resume competing for the $250,000 grand prize.
Rondalee dropped from 221 to 217 pounds, losing four pounds. Damien fell from 306 to 295 pounds, dropping 11 pounds. With his 3.59% weight-loss percentage, Damien defeated Rondalee's 1.81% weight-loss percentage.
Later in the episode, Scott Mitchell, a 46-year-old bill collector and 12-year NFL veteran quarterback from Mapleton, UT, was voted off the show by all the other contestants after he fell below the yellow line with Toma Dobrosavljevic, a 33-year-old senior project manager and former high school soccer, football, volleyball and baseball player from Addison, IL.
Scott and Toma both fell below the yellow line after posting the two lowest weight-loss percentages at the week's weigh-in.
The Biggest Loser's broadcast began with host Alison Sweeney explained to the Blue, Red and White Teams that the week was going to be all about team work. If the eight of them could lose a combined total of 50 pounds, everyone would be safe. But if they failed to hit 50 pounds, the yellow line would be utilized and then one person would be voted out of the competition.
However, the challenge allowed the players an opportunity to reduce their overall goal.
For the challenge, the group had 60 minutes to use two different sized sandbags to transfer as much sand as possible and create a new pile high enough to jump up and reach a plank level.
For every plank reached, the amount of weight they would need to lose on the scale would reduce by one pound. There were 10 planks and if they hit all 10 -- with the tenth plank being 14 feet off the ground -- they would only need to lose a total of 40 pounds for the week.
After last-chance workouts, the weigh-in commenced and it ended up being one of the worst showings in The Biggest Loser history.
