The Biggest Loser eliminated Lisa Rambo during Monday night's NBC broadcast of the reality weight-loss competition's fifth fourteenth-season episode.

Lisa, a 37-year-old high school special education assistant from Houlton, WI, was eliminated after her Red Team posted the lowest weight-loss percentage at the season's fifth weekly elimination weigh-in and then cast the majority of their votes to oust her from the ranch.

"It's hard and you don't want to go home, but they voted me out because they knew that I was strong and they can see the strength that is built in me in a very short time. I'm very different than when I arrived here. Even Workout 1 was scary," Lisa said following her ouster.

"I feel extremely blessed to have had [Dolvett Quince] as my trainer. Dolvett taught me that I can do it. He taught me that I could do anything I put my mind to. My body's gotten stronger and stronger every week and I can go home with my head held high extremely proud that I did exactly what I came here to do. This was just the beginning of my journey and I'm not done yet."

The fifth broadcast of The Biggest Loser's fourteenth season began with host Alison Sweeney telling the 10 remaining contestants they'd each be given $10 a day to buy groceries for the entire week. They learned they'd only have 15 minutes to shop to prove themselves they could eat healthy on a budget.

The players then worked out with their respected trainers -- Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels or Dolvett, who later checked in with the three teen participants on their progress. Lindsay Bravo, a 13-year-old eighth-grader from Fillmore, CA,  was preparing for cheerleading auditions by taking gymnastic lessons.

Sanjana "Sunny" Chandrasekar, a 16-year-old eleventh-grader from Rochester, NY, hoped to try on and buy the perfect prom dress, while Noah "Biingo" Gray, a 13-year-old eighth-grader from New Windsor, MD, was going to the gym several times a week although he had a leg injury. The three trainers then each worked out with one child via Skype.

Afterward, Devin Alexander, who calls herself a "healthy comfort food chef," showed The Biggest Loser contestants how they could feed six people all under $20. She made them a Southwest loaded sweet potato.

Later on, the Red Team, White Team and Blue Team met with Alison again for their weekly challenge. Alison explained that every player on the winning team would receive 10 one-year gym memberships to Planet Fitness to give out to their loved ones and friends at home. In addition, the winning team would have the choice between two "priceless" prizes -- a two-pound advantage on the scale or an opportunity to call home.

For the challenge, each team had a fountain in the center of a pond. The objective was to fill it with coins, 10 coins from every member of the team. David Jones, a 51-year-old police officer from Kiefer, OK, was not medically cleared to compete because he had been struggling with a knee injury involving cracks within his spongy bone.

However, the catch of the challenge was that each coin weighed five pounds and they had to swim back and forth through the pond to get to the fountain. In the end, Dannielle "Danni" Allen, a 26-year-old advertising account coordinator from Wheeling, IL, won.

Danni acknowledged how she used to be a swimmer and realized she still had it in her. She then told Alison she wanted to take the two-pound advantage since she was the only person left on her team and didn't want to go home.

Following the challenge, Danni, the final White Team member, told her trainer Jillian that she won the challenge. Although happy for her and the two-pound advantage, Jillian admitted she had a superstition that if you win a challenge, you lose the weigh-in.

All the contestants then participated in their last chance workouts.

That night, the three teams arrived for The Biggest Loser's fifth fourteenth-season elimination weigh-in.

Alison revealed the losing team to post the lowest weight-loss percentage would deliberate and decide via a vote which of its team members must go home. The players would enter the new voting room to cast their votes one by one, however if the White Team lost, Danni would automatically be eliminated since she was the only team member left.

If the Red or Blue Team was to lose the weigh-in, the individual to post the highest weight-loss percentage on the team would receive immunity and be safe from the vote.

The players then stepped on the scale one by one to learn their fate and Dolvett's Red Team went first.

Joe Ostaszewski, a 43-year-old senior sales executive from Williston, FL, lost 11 pounds, going from 310 pounds to 299 pounds. He was then followed by Francelina Morillo, a 25-year-old student and store manager from Albany, NY, who dropped seven pounds and went from 231 pounds to 224 pounds.

Jackson Carter, a 21-year-old volunteer coordinator for LGBT resource center and movie theater assistant manager from Layton, UT, shed eight pounds and went from 288 pounds to 280 pounds. Lisa lost five pounds and went from 214 pounds to 209 pounds.

Combined, the Red Team lost 31 pounds -- giving them a total weight-loss percentage of 2.97% for the week.

Bob's Blue Team members weighed-in next.

Gina McDonald, a 47-year-old attorney and law firm owner from Hoover, AL, was the first member to step on the scale and dropped nine pounds, going from 206 pounds to 197 pounds. She was then followed by Michael Dorsey, a 34-year-old college professor and communications consultant from Baltimore, MD, who lost 13 pounds and went from 384 pounds to 371 pounds.

Jeff Nichols, a 24-year-old pharmaceutical representative from Monroe, MI, lost 13 pounds as well and declined from 342 pounds to 329 pounds. David shed 10 pounds and went from 263 pounds to 253 pounds. Alexandra "Alex" Reid, a 24-year-old legal assistant from Carrolton, TX, dropped 10 pounds as well, going from 217 to 207 pounds.

Together, the Blue Team lost 55 pounds -- giving them a total weight-loss percentage of 3.90%.

Jillian's White Team was the last to weigh-in.

Danni dropped nine pounds, going from 222 pounds to 213 pounds. With her two-pound advantage, Danni shed 11 pounds and posted a total weight-loss percentage of 4.95%.

Alex was declared "the biggest loser" for the week, and then Alison announced the Red Team had lost the weigh-in and would be forced to vote someone off. They could not vote for Joe, but in the event of a tie, another team would enter the room and determine whom to eliminate.

Jackson voted for Lisa, Lisa voted for Jackson, Francelina voted for Lisa, and Joe voted for Lisa. With three votes, Lisa was sent home.

In a post-elimination update, Lisa -- who started The Biggest Loser weighing 246 pounds -- said she currently weighs 170 pounds. She began teaching her special education students nutrition following her appearance on the show and has been getting more involved in athletic family activities.
