The Family Chantel featured Chantel Everett and her mother Karen Everett starting drama at Angenette and Royal's wedding celebration and Alejandro revealing he'd like to present Nicole with a commitment ring during the Season 2 episode that aired Monday night on TLC.

Lidia insisted Alejandro was probably hiding children from Nicole, adding that women have "a sixth sense."
Lidia explained she had met her children's father and when a year went by, he revealed he had a secret and then informed Lidia he had two children from another relationship. Lidia already welcomed two children, Nicole and Pedro, with this man.
Lidia's ex allegedly claimed he missed his other children and then left Lidia alone with Nicole and Pedro. Lidia said she had to house her children and take care of their education and everything by herself.
Lidia said she didn't want her daughter to go through the same thing.
As Alejandro tried to convince Lidia he had good intentions, Lidia replied, "I will drain the bad out of you."
Lidia then stormed away from the conversation, as Alejandro begged to talk things out and fix things. However, the more Alejandro spoke, the angrier Lidia got. Lidia then chased Alejandro with her purse, trying to hit him.
Lidia didn't seem to buy the fact Alejandro was in the middle of a divorce and truly over his life.
"You are not worth it. You hear me? Shameless!" Lidia shouted at the park.
Alejandro begged for an opportunity, and Nicole said her boyfriend was making her happy.
"What a gem," Lidia stated with sarcasm.
RELATED LINK: '90 DAY FIANCE' COUPLES NOWAlejandro never anticipated Lidia would act that way, and he wished she could have been more flexible. Nicole sat in the street and cried, and Alejandro said all he wanted was for Nicole to be happy and feel good about their relationship.
With that being said, Nicole decided to try to speak to her mother again -- alone this time.

Meanwhile, Angenette told Royal that she was "really pissed off" at Chantel, who essentially told Angenette not to return to the United States.
Angenette said Chantel needed to stop "butting in" to her relationship, and she hoped the Everett family wouldn't embarrass her own family. Angenette told Royal his relatives should just leave the Philippines if they were going to cause more trouble.
Angenette's wedding day had arrived, and she wanted the day to go as planned and be the day she had dreamed of. Royal told Angenette his family had a chance to prove themselves that day, and Angenette feared drama would spark.
"They keep accusing me of stuff that is not true, that my mom is talking to his uncle and that I'm talking to other guys. If they're going to make a scene then I hope he's just going to send off his family instead of me doing it," Angenette told the cameras.
Royal said the hardest part of the situation was that his family was causing issues and he just wanted them to calm down and support him and his relationship.

Karen intended to have a conversation with Angenette's mother Antoinette. that day in order to get to the bottom of things.
Angenette then noticed Chantel and Karen were wearing long sparkly gowns, which apparently upset her because she wanted the attention and focus on Royal and herself.
Royal then asked his loved ones not to take away from his wedding because he didn't want to have to throw anybody out. Royal didn't want anyone bringing up "stupid stuff or drama" that would put a damper on his wedding day.
Chantel and her mother clearly thought it was messed up for Royal to threaten to throw them out, and the group asked Royal as a whole if he even wanted them at the ceremony.

Royal assured his family that he wanted them to be a part of the celebration but only if they promised to be on good behavior.
Meanwhile, Nicole sat down with her mother and said she felt really upset about how Lidia had left the conversation with Alejandro. Nicole reminded Lidia that Alejandro was getting a divorce, Lidia called that "a cock and bull story."
Lidia didn't want to see Nicole repeat her story, but Nicole noted that wasn't the case and her situation was different.
Lidia said the most important thing to her in life was to protect her kids and so she'd do everything in her power to convince Nicole not to be in a relationship of this nature.
Lidia said if Nicole continued to date Alejandro, there would be consequences and it would break her heart to watch her daughter get hurt and suffer.
Nicole then asked her mother to go to the carnival with her, which was an annual family tradition, but Lidia said "no" because she didn't want to talk to him again.
"Break up with that boy. I don't accept it," Lidia said.

"I love you and thank you for your advice," Nicole said, as she left her mother's house.
Lidia told the cameras that she hoped Nicole would come to her senses because she was never going to approve of her romance with Alejandro.

Over in the Philippines, Royal and Angenette began the first night of their traditional wedding.
Chantel noticed everyone was dressed in casual clothes and her family had expected it to be a more formal occasion. Angenette's brother and sister joked that it looked like Royal's family was going to a prom.
There were over 300 people who came out to party with Royal and Angenette before their marriage. Chantel said it seemed like the bride and groom were on full display for the whole village, and Chantel felt like the Americans were a spectacle.
Karen said she had a great time dancing and her son Royal looked happier than he had been in a very long time, so everyone just had a good time and danced.
Karen then embarked on her mission to talk to Antoinette and ask her about the strange Facebook activity.
Karen said, "I believe that you used your Facebook account to reach out to my brother in the United States."
Angenette translated and told her mother, "Mom, someone is using your Facebook and talking to Royal's uncle."
"I did not talk to anyone," Antoinette said.

"I believe Angenette did this because we think Angenette was fishing," Chantel said.
"Okay, if that's what you believe," Angenette said with a laugh.
Karen added, "In America, we call it 'running a game on somebody.' My family, they don't like to be tricked."
Angenette told Chantel and Karen to "go" and then she vented to her friends how the ladies in Royal's family were "stupid." Chantel just wished Angenette would be honest with them, and Angenette got very upset.
"Just send them off. I don't really need them here. F-ck your family," Angenette said. "I don't want to see them in the church tomorrow."

Royal was frustrated the women in his family were causing "mischief," but Karen claimed she wanted to warn Angenette's mother about the Facebook activity so she could change her password. Royal said it wasn't the proper time or place for this conversation.
Angenette went off crying and Royal said his wife didn't want any of them at the wedding.
River told Royal that he needed to smarten up and understand what was going on, and he said it definitely hurt to not feel welcome or wanted at the nuptials.
Chantel said being told to leave was "uncalled for" and so she didn't know if she was going to attend the wedding -- or if she was even invited.
The evening was apparently ruined for Angenette, and her relatives were upset because the wedding celebration was supposed to be one of the happiest nights of her life.

Nicole thought this was the perfect way to end Alejandro's trip to the Dominican Republic.
"[But] I have to think seriously if we should continue this relationship," Nicole told the cameras in light of her mother's opinion on the matter. "I can't make a decision that pulls me to one side and abandons the other. That is not an option for me."

Alejandro never expected to fight and argue with Nicole's mother, but he was glad to become closer to Nicole. He wanted Nicole to know their relationship was "very serious" to him and he wanted to be committed to her.
Alejandro then revealed in a confessional he planned to give Nicole a ring to show his love and commitment to her, and he hoped Lidia would come around.
Alejandro didn't think he needed Lidia's approval to give Nicole a ring, seemingly an engagement ring, but he figured the gesture would prove to Lidia that he wasn't going anywhere and convince her that his heart belonged to Nicole.
