The Family Chantel featured Pedro Jimeno agreeing to go on a guys' trip with Chantel Everett's father and brother in attempt to bond and Chantel hiring a private investigator to figure out whether Winter's boyfriend Jah had any secrets -- and a shocking detail was discovered! -- during Monday night's episode of the 90 Day Fiance spinoff on TLC.

The Family Chantel episode began where last week's episode had left off, with Chantel feeling angry and betrayed about Pedro's plans to bring his mother Lidia and sister Nicole to the United States.

Pedro felt "the family Chantel" was against him, and so he needed the support of his loved ones in America. Pedro suggested he can pay for an apartment for his family once they arrive, but Chantel said he was wasting his time, money and effort.

Chantel argued Pedro was a mama's boy and would be happier living with his family than with her, so she threatened to move back in with her parents. She also demanded Pedro just move back to the Dominican Republic.

Pedro was proud of paying his family's bills, but Chantel said she couldn't live that way any longer.

The next day, Chantel felt sorry for how she had behaved the night prior. Chantel said she had unleashed months of pent-up emotions and problems within herself, and so she apologized and made Pedro breakfast.

Chantel told Pedro to be honest with her about all of his plans regarding money and immigration because being open with her beforehand would've made a world of difference.

Pedro, however, had yet to tell Chantel about his visit with the lawyer in which he had discovered Chantel must attend an interview in order to bring his relatives over and it would cost about $10,000 total. But Pedro had to wait two years to become a U.S. citizen before going through with anything.

The pair talked things out, and Pedro was definitely appreciative of having breakfast made for him.

Chantel later revealed Pedro was unable to pass his driver's test so she had to drive him everywhere, but he didn't seem to mind.

The couple then went on a mini-golf double date with Chantel's sister Winter and her boyfriend Jah. Chantel knew very little about Jah even though he had been dating her sister for five years.

"I'm even more skeptical about Jah, because if my own husband can keep a secret this big from me, I can't imagine what my sister doesn't know about Jah," Chantel said.

Winter found Jah to be very respectful and wonderful, so she thought Chantel was deflecting the problems in her own relationship onto Winter's romance. Winter was no longer living in Chantel's shadow, and she said it felt good to have a life of her own.

Winter said Jah made her feel secure and treated her like a queen. Jah felt Chantel's family didn't have much time to get to know him because there was always so much drama and focus on Chantel and Pedro's marriage.

Jah then revealed to Chantel he was thinking about proposing to Winter -- which Chantel dubbed "crazy." Chantel told Jah he should spend more time with her family before popping the question.

Chantel wanted Winter to be careful and find out the real person she'd be marrying, which is something Chantel claimed she hadn't done with Pedro. But Jah planned to go ahead with his plans whether Chantel's family was onboard or not; he just hoped to have Pedro in his corner.

Pedro was then shown having lunch with Chantel's father Thomas. Pedro said he didn't see any progress in family counseling.

Thomas said Pedro's intent to bring his mother and sister to the U.S. worried him, but at the same time, Pedro admitted in counseling he'd love to have a father and brother, which made Thomas think he could provide a nice family setting for Pedro he could truly be a part of.

Thomas suggested to Pedro they go on a guys trip away from the girls -- with River as well -- whether it be hiking or horseback riding. Thomas hoped the men could talk and bond, but Chantel's mother Karen didn't think that was going to help.

Karen said Pedro had been using their daughter and was just a flat out liar.

Pedro wasn't sure he could trust Thomas, but he wanted to learn things from him as a father figure. But Pedro figured if he attempted to bond with Thomas and River, Chantel might try to do the same with his mother and sister when they arrive in America.

Chantel was then shown revealing to Karen that Jah planned to propose marriage to Winter and she was worried about Winter making the wrong decision. Karen was also a little concerned because Jah was very quiet and she had picked up on some "red flags."

Chantel suggested Winter was "being a little naive" and they should hire a private investigator, just like her family had done to find out more about Pedro and his family.

"At the time, I was against it because I felt like it was an invasion of his privacy, but now after everything that I've learned, I understand why they did it," Chantel told the cameras.

"Now I know how important it is to know everything about a person before you marry them. I can't let my sister make a decision that could ruin the rest of her life."

Karen wanted to find out where Jah went when he had to leave the house suddenly for extended periods of time and left Winter with his daughter. Chantel worried whether he had another woman or was living a double life.

When Chantel learned about Pedro's guys trip, she was shocked and pleased at the same time. She was thrilled to hear both sides were putting in effort to fix the family problems.

However, Chantel worried something might happen on the trip that would make her relationship with Pedro even worse.

Chantel then revealed to Pedro she wanted to hire a private investigator, but Pedro insisted they should give Jah a chance to explain himself. Pedro told Chantel to just ask questions, not go behind his back and do research.

"Now I realize Pedro and I didn't know each other when we got married, and I don't want my little sister to be in the same situation or worse," Chantel explained.

Pedro warned Chantel that Winter would probably blame her for this and be angry.

Later on, Chantel and Karen met with the same private investigator who had handled Pedro's case. Chantel said Winter was putting her dreams and aspirations on the back-burner to help Jah raise his child, and she was alarmed she didn't know Jah's age or career.

Chantel feared Jah was "fooling around on her with another girl," and so she asked the private investigator to put a tracker on his car. Karen said she'd have to handle the situation strategically if it turns out Jah is hiding something.

Thomas and River then picked up Pedro for their guys' day of riding horses, but River called the idea "stupid." Thomas felt they were moving in the right direction as a family, but River still thought Pedro as "a lying and conniving person."

River felt Thomas was rewarding Pedro for disrespecting their family, mistreating Chantel, and allowing his family to disrespect Chantel. River said there were "so many red flags," but Thomas said Chantel loved Pedro and so they needed to try to mend fences.

Even thought Pedro didn't like River, he was excited to go to a dude ranch. He liked the idea of being an American cowboy for a day, but planned to tell River to shut up if he said anything inappropriate.

"I have 100 percent doubt this is going to work," River told the cameras. "It's not really a guys' retreat that needs to be going on, we just have to stop dealing with him."

"If one day at the ranch fixes everything, it will be a miracle," Pedro said. "But I'm going to try."

Pedro hoped his effort would eventually convince Pedro to be supportive of his own family members coming to the United States.

Pedro ended up getting emotional, admitting to the cameras he was jealous of Thomas and River's relationship because he never had a father and didn't even know his father. Pedro didn't understand why the guys disliked him in the beginning, and the trio seemed to improve their dynamic during the day.

The episode concluded with Chantel and Karen meeting the private investigator in person. Chantel had been called into Robin Martinelli's office, and so she assumed the news was not going to be good.

"If I find out another daughter is being setup, that is news I do not want to hear or know... but I have to," Karen noted. "I hope he is not cheating on her."

Robin told Karen and Chantel of Jah, "There's no delicate way to say this -- he has another child."
