The Family Chantel featured Chantel Everett's brother Royal lashing out at his family after an explosive altercation with Angenette at a bar and Nicole Jimeno fighting with Alejandro in front of his family during the Season 2 episode Monday night on TLC.

Winter and River tried to comfort Royal and pull him out of the chaos, and they defended their brother, saying he lashed out because his wife and her friends were "throwing stones" at him and humiliated him.
But Angenette saw things in a different way.
"He run away because he is a p--sy. He doesn't want to talk about it. I'm not going to be happy if he doesn't trust me, and I don't think that our marriage would work," Angenette said in a confessional.
Royal told Angenette that he was going to go back to where he came from, and Angenette cried in her friends' arms, saying that Royal just left and ignored her. Angenette's friends said it didn't seem like Royal loved her at all.
River predicted the wedding was going to be called off, adding, "I don't see a way for them to bounce back from this."
A friend of Angenette's then asked her if she still wanted to marry Royal, and Angenette replied, "Yeah... because I love him."
"But I think he doesn't love you," the friend replied.
Meanwhile, in the Dominican Republic, Nicole said she felt very uncomfortable around her mother Lidia after how she acted in front of Alejandro. Nicole felt ashamed of her mother but still wanted to make peace.
Nicole was then shown picking Lidia up in her car, and Nicole told her mother that she wasn't happy because Lidia had "humiliated" Alejandro. Lidia said she's the one who decides who is accepted into her home and Nicole never asked her for permission for him to stay at her house.
Nicole argued that Lidia never gave her boyfriend a chance, and then Lidia replied, "He is crazy and you are crazier... Only a crazy person pays attention to a guy like that."

Nicole didn't know how to change her mother's opinion, and Nicole admitted she had grieved all night after Lidia lashed out at Alejandro and kicked him out of her home.
"Alejandro is a marvelous and spectacular man," Nicole insisted. "I just hope that you give him an opportunity. So that you can have a conversation with him and see what I see in him."
Lidia said she was going to defend her daughter like a lioness and Alejandro was simply not the right guy for her. Lidia accused Nicole of giving her a headache, but Nicole said that Alejandro treats her very well.
Lidia accused Alejandro of being an opportunist and taking advantage of her daughter for the "perks" of their relationship. Lidia didn't think Alejandro had any morals or values, and she was also upset with her daughter for getting into bed with her boyfriend too soon.
However, Lidia came around and acknowledged she would at least "think about" talking to Alejandro.
Nicole knew Lidia wasn't going to like what she had to tell her next.
After Chantel's family went out to a bar in the Philippines, Angenette was feeling really hurt about what happened, especially since Royal had left her in the middle of the road.

Royal gave Angenette flowers and said he was trying to run away from "the whole situation" with Chantel, Pedro Jimeno and everybody. Royal apologized for not turning back and taking care of Angenette.
Royal accused Chantel of making up the story about Angenette having talked to an American guy online before meeting him, claiming that Chantel lied because their parents accepted Royal and Angenette's relationship more than Chantel and Pedro's relationship.
On whether Royal accused Angenette of being pregnant with another man's baby before her miscarriage, Royal claimed it was "just a joke." Angenette said the alleged joke wasn't clear at the time because he wasn't laughing at all.

Royal apologized and said he had no idea that the joke made Angenette feel so hurt.
"You're always saying sorry," Angenette said, seemingly tired of Royal's mistakes. "Just one more time, Royal, and I'm going to leave you. Just go back to your mom."
The pair decided to move forward with their wedding because planning a wedding is apparently very sacred in Angenette's culture and she couldn't just stop halfway through.
Angenette determined she was still committed to Royal but she needed to talk to his parents and family, and Royal apologized for being unable to control his family's behavior.
Royal hoped to resolve the issue with everyone.
Meanwhile, Chantel's family got together in their hotel room and Chantel revealed Angenette had denied talking to American men before dating Royal. Chantel's mother Karen said Royal used to tell her everything but then Angenette asked Royal to stop being "a mama's boy."
Karen remembered how Angenette had a baby bump when she first showed up to the United States, and Chantel said she had noticed that as well but didn't want to bring anything up since Angenette ultimately suffered a miscarriage.
Karen said she and Royal took a pregnancy test a week after she landed and the result was positive. Chantel's father Thomas explained that's why Royal and Angenette got married in the first week of Angenette's 90-day stay in the United States.

Karen said Angenette had never told her about being pregnant or losing the baby and it made her "very sad."
"I believe this girl was trying to get somebody that would bring her to America, marry her, and she could take advantage of them -- and that person ended up being Royal," Karen told the group.

Royal then entered the room and Karen expressed how she had some real concerns.
Karen also revealed Angenette had reached out to her brother, Ronson, a single man living in America. Royal called it "miscommunication" and told his family to just go home because they were stirring up trouble.
"There is no need for you to be here, so goodbye," Royal said.
Winter called Royal's reaction "a slap in the face," especially because River and Winter had been trying to show that they were "with him." River said Royal was "blinded by love."
Royal complained his family was a cesspool of lies and he wanted nothing to do with them, and so he left the room and held the door shut so Chantel couldn't follow him out.
Karen believed Royal was "in denial" because Royal accused his family of overreacting. Karen said she was confused and worried about Royal's well-being because Royal was trying to protect Angenette all the way to the end.
Meanwhile, Alejandro brought Nicole to meet his uncle, cousins and some friends in the Dominican Republic. Alejandro's cousins could tell that Alejandro was truly in love like never before.
Nicole discovered Alejandro had sent his ex gifts just like he did with Nicole, and it frustrated her because Nicole thought she was the only one Alejandro had done that with. In fact, Alejandro had told Nicole that she was the only girl he treated that way.

Nicole argued with Alejandro in front of his family and friends, and then Nicole stormed out. The group was surprised by Nicole's outburst, especially since she was angry over something they considered small and irrelevant.
Alejandro's family therefore got the impression Nicole wasn't mature enough for Alejandro and the couple had poor communication. One of Alejandro's loved ones even told him to just dump Nicole since she carries an attitude like that.
Later on, Royal called his family together for a meeting because they needed to hash some problems out.
Karen admitted she wasn't sure whether she wanted to be in the Philippines anymore, and River explained it hurt everyone's feelings when Royal tried to kick them out.
Chantel then called her Uncle Ronson on the phone, asking if a woman from the Philippines had tried to contact him. Ronson said "yes" but the woman's name was Antoinette.
As the family asked questions, River said Royal was being deflective. Royal, for example, said he didn't remember telling Chantel that Angenette had allegedly communicated with another American man before they got romantically involved.
Angenette told Royal that he constantly lied and that's why her life was "miserable" with him. Angenette had tears streaming down her face and denied ever having asked Royal not to tell Karen things.

Angenette said Royal was the one who didn't want his family to know about their pregnancy, and she said Royal was trying to make her look bad in front of his family.
Angenette feared Royal's family might judge her, and Angenette said Royal had previously called his family "crazy" and "bad."

"Well if you think I'm stupid, then don't ask me anything," Chantel griped.
