The Golden Bachelorette viewers will be seeing less of bachelor Gil Ramirez on-screen following reports that he had a temporary restraining order filed against him only three months ago.

A woman who claimed to have been dating Gil filed a temporary restraining order against him on June 11, which was shortly before Joan Vassos' The Golden Bachelorette season began filming, People reported.

According to the court filing obtained by the magazine, the unidentified woman cited "harassment -- emotional" as Gil's offense and was granted a temporary restraining order that same day.

A hearing was initially scheduled for July 2, but because Gil wasn't served the order in time, it was postponed for July 24.

However, the woman's case was ultimately dismissed "without prejudice for lack of prosecution for lack of service," and so the restraining order was also dropped.

ABC was reportedly made aware of the temporary restraining order only after the network had already completed background checks on The Golden Bachelorette suitors.

A source close to The Golden Bachelorette told People that "this filing occurred in the brief period between completion of our thorough background investigation and exhaustive vetting process, and the beginning of production."

The source explained that due to this information coming to light, The Golden Bachelorette has "further edited his already limited screen time and minimized him in promotional assets moving forward."

The woman claimed in her June 11 filing that Gil had been stalking her for two weeks at that point by randomly showing up at places she frequented in attempt to confront her on a daily basis.

"Despite telling him to not contact me, come to my house -- he made repeated unwanted contact with me, family members and friends," the woman alleged, adding that Gil had made "25 attempts daily" to contact her via phone, texts and video.

Although the woman clarified Gil had not physically abused her, she requested a domestic violence restraining order to ensure the 60-year-old educator from Mission Viejo, CA, would stay away from her home, workplace, vehicle, and children's school.

Gil, a father of two, was shown tossing a ball to Joan on The Golden Bachelorette premiere episode and calling her "a great catch."

Gil received a rose at the first Rose Ceremony of Joan's The Golden Bachelorette season.

Gil will therefore be one of Joan's remaining 18 senior bachelors when the show airs its next episode on Wednesday, September 25 on ABC.

Gil has yet to publicly comment on the temporary restraining order.

The news of Gil's temporary restraining order comes less than one week after The Bachelorette fans learned Jenn Tran's winner and now ex-fiance, Devin Strader, had been arrested for allegedly burglarizing an ex-girlfriend's Louisiana home in 2017.

The woman whose home was broken into also subsequently filed a restraining order against Devin.

The woman had told police in 2017 that, shortly after her split from Devin, he broke into her home while she was out of town and stole a diamond necklace he had previously gifted her.

Once the woman returned home from her trip, she claimed Devin -- who had lived two doors down from her at the time but had no key or "unaccompanied access" to her apartment -- repeatedly banged on her apartment door and screamed at her.

Entertainment Weekly obtained a copy of the restraining order petition filed against Devin in which the woman had detailed some of the alleged abuse in her own handwriting.

The woman wrote in the filing that Devin "spit on me and threw his drink on me at Pelicans game in front of everyone in the crowd," and "put me in a chokehold covering my mouth."

Devin allegedly violated the restraining order "numerous" times and even taunted his ex-girlfriend by burning a copy of the restraining order outside her home after it was issued.

The court reportedly ordered Devin to pay $500 and complete 30 hours of community service. He was also required to attend the Court's Effective Decision-Making School and be on unsupervised probation for one year.

Devin broke his silence on arrest and restraining order reports last week.

"There have been challenges from a low point in my past that have been brought up and severely misconstrued," Devin claimed in his statement, which he posted on Instagram Stories.

The 28-year-old freight company manager from Texas continued, "That restraining order was never granted, and fully dismissed."

"My college ex-girlfriend and I ended up reconciling and eventually ended our relationship on good terms," he added.

"This was the first time I ever fell in love and I learned a lot from our relationship. It was a growing experience for both of us."

Devin also insisted in his September 19 statement, "The accusations are simply not true as I have never inappropriately laid hands on another individual or treated my ex-girlfriend in any of the ways I have been depicted."
