Joan was asked to dish about her upcoming The Golden Bachelorette finale during a recent episode of the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.
"I can't reveal a lot, obviously," Joan noted.
But Joan admitted that her feelings for Guy "caught up" to what she had felt for Chock early on.
"That surprised me," Joan shared.
Joan therefore confessed the ending of her season was "so hard" to get through.
"Yeah, so, things happened that surprised me," Joan teased.
"So emotions happen that surprised me. The way the guys processed some things surprised me. So the ending -- just like The Bachelor always has -- is a dramatic surprise."
And Joan told Kaitlyn, "I didn't think that I was going to be that person!"
Going into The Golden Bachelorette, Joan said she knew how it worked and she thought she could navigate the journey pretty drama-free.
"And then I was like, 'What the hell just happened?' I was sitting in my room, like, 'I don't even know how to process this!'" Joan said.

But Joan assured Kaitlyn that she managed to process what happened and she's in a good place now.
"And actually watching the show now, for me, is so exciting because you don't see what's happening in the mansion! And so you're watching and you're like, 'Oh my god, I love these men,'" Joan gushed.
"I have love for all of them because I get to watch them interact with other guys like normal human beings rather than just being on a date with me."

While Joan declined to reveal if she walked away from the process with a man by her side, Joan said she'd definitely be open to a televised wedding one day.
"I don't necessarily think that's the most personal way to do it, and not the best possible way to serve my family and friends," Joan admitted.
"But I do really feel like millions of people have watched the show and they deserve to see the happy ending. I could do a private thing also."
Joan also spoke about possibly televising her wedding during a recent appearance on "The Viall Files" podcast.

"It's not fair to say, 'Okay, see you later! The show is over!'" Joan insisted.
"So, yeah," she confirmed, "I would be open to a wedding, if I was going to get married again."
The Golden Bachelorette fans are hoping Joan found her happy ending, but she apparently struggled during the final weeks of the process.
Joan admitted to Us Weekly late last month that she felt "unsure" if she could continue towards the end of her journey.
"I went through some really, really, really tough emotional times that made me think, 'I'm not sure if I can do this,'" Joan admitted.
Joan also noted that she didn't care about returning home to Maryland with a diamond ring on her finger.
"I know everyone wants to see this big, epic happy ending, but I had to do what was right for me," Joan teased of her Final Rose Ceremony.
Joan added of her season's outcome, "This was not about making a TV show for me -- it was about finding love."

Even if Joan did find true love for the second time in her life, she plans on staying in Maryland to continue caring for her mother and mother-in-law. She also wants to remain close to her children and grandkids.
Joan therefore admitted that she's fine with navigating a long-distance relationship, even though distance has broken up many Bachelor franchise couples before her, including The Golden Bachelor star Gerry Turner and his now ex-wife Theresa Nist.
"I don't consider it a negative thing," Joan said of living apart from her partner. "It could be really fun."

"When I have something great going on, my person could come be with me, and vice versa. We'll spend two or three weeks with each other every month," Joan explained.
"I know this sounds aspirational, [but] you can make it work. The logistics shouldn't be what stops you from being together."
Joan has made cryptic comments about her The Golden Bachelorette in the last couple of months, refusing to share specifics about whether she found the man of her dreams.
Joan previously shared with Us that she found "all different kinds of love" on The Golden Bachelorette.
And when asked to spill more details about how her journey concluded on The View, Joan said, "I feel like everybody's journey is completely different, including mine."
Joan added, "Mine ended in a unique way, but the way it ended makes me very happy."
But Joan couldn't get away with that response when talking to several curious women.
When The View's co-hosts pushed Joan to reveal if she found love on the show, Joan quipped, "I am smiling!"
