The Little Couple star Jen Arnold has announced she's in remission after undergoing months of chemotherapy treatments to fight cancer.

"And while I'm hesitant to say I'm cancer-free -- maybe that's common for people who have had cancer -- I'm doing great. Everything is moving in the right direction. I am very excited."
Arnold will reportedly still be monitored closely by her doctor and have her blood count checked weekly to make sure the cancer doesn't come back. However, those blood tests will become less frequent as time progresses since the majority of cancer relapses allegedly occur within the first 18 months of remission.
Arnold revealed she was battling a rare form of cancer in early December, when she had already gone through surgery and weekly chemotherapy treatments.
"It actually got harder as more time went on. Some weeks were more difficult than others with different side effects," said Arnold, a Houston-based neonatologist who hasn't returned to work full-time yet.
"I had a lot of fatigue and nausea and some days it just felt like my hands and feet were very heavy... Sometimes I get a little winded when I walk around more and I have that fuzzy chemo brain at times, but I am very excited and happy to be where I am right now. I want to get stuff done. I am anxious to get back to my normal self."
Arnold and her husband Bill Klein, a 39-year-old entrepreneur who runs Rocky and Maggie's Pet Shop in Houston, have two children together. They have a three-year-old son named Will whom they adopted from China and a two-year-old daughter Zoey whom they just recently adopted from India.
"Bill knows when I'm not doing well and he takes such good care of me," Arnold told the magazine. "That was huge. That and enjoying watching my children play was a huge uplifting part of my treatment. With kids running around, you don't have much time to feel sorry for yourself."
Arnold was diagnosed with Stage 3 Choriocarcinoma after a failed pregnancy and, according to People, went under the knife to remove a mass in her uterus. She reportedly developed pneumonia afterwards and then battled tumors in her lungs via chemotherapy.
Arnold has reportedly struggled with fertility and surrogacy issues for quite some time, and she's had about 30 procedures and operations related to her skeletal dysplasia, a bone-growth disorder that causes dwarfism.
Arnold and Klein's The Little Couple series debuted in May 2009 on TLC. The show's fifth season just wrapped up in October of last year.
