The Proposal's first "mystery gentleman," Mike Crowe, is still engaged to the woman he was shown proposing to on Monday night's premiere.

Mike, a police officer from Bakersfield, CA, popped the question to one of 10 competing women, Monica Villalobos, during the debut of ABC's new pageant-style reality dating series.
While The Proposal's debut episode was panned by the majority of viewers on social media, the format apparently works, because Mike and Monica are still engaged!
According to ABC executive Robert Mills, filming took place "about two months ago," and Mike and Monica are "madly in love."
Shortly after the premiere aired on June 18, The Proposal's official Twitter account also confirmed the couple is still together.

"Congrats to Mike and Monica!" tweeted The Proposal. "And, for those wondering... they are still a couple! Excited for them to explore life after #TheProposal."
The show's Twitter account also shared a video of the lovebirds confirming their romance is still going strong.
"You guys, I never thought anything like this would happen in, like, a million years," Mike said in the video with his fiancee by his side.
"I never thought I'd be on television, never thought I'd get down on one knee and propose to someone in under an hour, but it happened and I got to meet this beautiful girl. We're having a good time and we're excited for what the future has in store for us."
"Definitely," Monica noted in the video, before adding, "I can't wait to get that ring!"

Monica's ring was designed by Neil Lane, who is the man behind most of the rings designed for bachelorettes on The Bachelor franchise.
Monica and Mike also apparently attended a viewing party together for The Proposal at a Dave and Buster's location.
"Finally!! It's no longer a secret!!" Monica wrote alongside an Instagram photo in which she's kissing her fiance against a wall that reads, "Game On."
The Proposal, hosted by Jesse Palmer and created by Mike Fleiss, debuted with 10 women -- selected by a panel of matchmakers -- attempting to win the heart of Mike by participating in four pageant-style rounds of competition, including swimwear and "dealbreaker questions." Mike's identity was initially concealed from the ladies.
