The broadcast of ABC's new reality dating series from The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss featured 10 women -- selected by a panel of matchmakers -- attempting to win the heart of a man whose identity was initially concealed from them by participating in four pageant-style rounds of competition.

Winston is a 31-year-old entrepreneur and dog lover from London who moved to San Diego, CA, three years ago. He revealed he's his own boss and runs both a fashion company as well as a construction company. Everything is going great except he'd love to have a woman by his side to share life with.

Next up was Landy Cajuste, a 28-year-old luxury real estate agent from Lakeworth, FL; Caitlin Conroy, a 28-year-old paralegal from Naples, FL; Bridget Praytor, a 39-year-old volleyball coach from Colorado Springs, CO; Dominique Walker, a 23-year-old server from Austin, TX; Casey Weems, a 28-year-old dancer from Orlando, FL; and finally Abby.

It then became time for the best of beachwear or swimwear round. All of the women felt comfortable enough to wear bikinis, and Abby, especially wowed the crowd with her fit physique.

A few other highlights of this round happened to be Lauren revealing she had lost a friend to gun violence who always pushed her to put herself out there for love; Claire sharing with Winston how she had been adopted; and Bridget noting she has five children -- including a set of twins -- at home from two different serious relationships.

Once this round concluded, Winston advanced the women he connected with and would like to get to know better: Lauren, Abby, Shelby, and Kathleen.

In the next stage of competition, Winston was allowed to ask each woman a serious question about topics that matter to him, such as religion, politics, sex, or past relationships -- and each lady was given 30 seconds to answer.

Lauren explained she hopes for stricter gun laws given there have been so many tragedies and innocent lives lost, and Abby said her relationship with her family is strong and thriving even though her parents are divorced and she had to move away from her two siblings for her entertainment career.

Winston asked Kathleen how she'd go about a long-distance engagement given she lives in New York, and she said they could take it day by day but she loves traveling and wouldn't mind going back and forth between their homes or visiting new places together.

And Shelby said she's been looking for a man who has ambition, given she's very ambitious herself and has opened her own business. She wants "the Jay-Z to my Beyonce."

Following the interview round, Winston wanted to keep seeing Lauren, Abby and Shelby.

The three women then got to meet Winston's mother, Lidia, who was afforded the opportunity to ask each lady a question since she could potentially become her future daughter-in-law.

Lidia asked Abby to reveal the traits she's looking for in a soul mate, and the contestant said she'd like someone ambitious, intelligent, humorous, selfless, uplifting, and supportive.

Lidia asked Shelby how she'd feel about Winston being independent and having "holidays" with his male friends, and she said she'd be totally fine with that given she also enjoys spending time with her girlfriends and traveling with them.

And Lauren told Winston's mother her aspiration is to become a better person in a relationship and make the man better as well through mutual support and love.

Winston decided to advance Lauren and Abby to the final round. As a result, these two ladies got to meet him face-to-face, and they both seemed very pleased with his appearance.

Lauren and Abby were then instructed to explain to Winston how far they'd be willing to go for love and for him.

In her speech, Abby told Winston that she felt a "rush of emotions" when she first saw him and "it was insane." She believes they could be a perfect match, and she appreciated how he cares for his mother and sisters. She also added he's "fit and hot."

When it became Lauren's time to open up her heart, she said she'd give him her all and wants to be there for him and be everything he needs. Lauren wanted her beloved grandmother to see how wonderful of a man Winston seemed to be.

Winston ultimately got down on one knee and presented Abby with an engagement ring. However, he asked for a first kiss before putting the ring on her finger.

After sharing a sweet kiss onstage, Winston asked, "Will you marry me?"
