Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida are officially calling it quits.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star "has retained an attorney with the intent of amicably ending her marriage," Parks' representative Steve Honig told People in a statement.

Parks, 41, and Nida, 35, reportedly got into an epic fight over the funds in his prison account before he turned himself in to jail one day late on September 11. Nida entered the minimum security federal prison in Lexington, KY, to begin his eight-year sentence after pleading guilty to charges of bank fraud and identity theft in May.

Nida spent two months drinking, partying and going to strip clubs before turning himself in, TMZ reported.

Honig said in a media statement last month: "Phaedra is now putting all of her energy into ensuring the well-being of her two children and making decisions that are in their best interests. This situation has put a tremendous strain on Phaedra and her family, and she is working hard to bring back a sense of normalcy to everyone's lives."

Nida pleaded guilty after laundering over $2.3 million in the last four years by creating fake companies to steal people's identities in order to open fraudulent bank accounts in their names and deposit stolen money, according to E! News. He had been arrested on such charges back in January.

Nida was previously imprisoned from 2004 to 2009 for breaking federal racketeering laws related to auto-title fraud.

Nida married Parks, an attorney, the same year he was released from jail. The pair also began appearing on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta together in 2009. They welcomed their first child, a son named Ayden, in 2010. Parks then gave birth to their second child, a son named Dylan, in May 2013.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta will return for a seventh season early next month.
