The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice has some regrets about her fraud case -- sort of.

"I wish I could do everything differently," the mother of four girls confessed to Us Weekly in its new issue featuring her photo and the headline "We Destroyed Our Family" on the cover.
"But then again, maybe not, because this is a life lesson that I need to learn and will teach my children for the rest of my life, just as Judge Salas told me she expected me to do."
The 42-year-old former The Celebrity Apprentice contestant was sentenced to 15 months in jail, while her husband Joe Giudice got 41 months behind bars.
Teresa said she previously accepted a plea deal, which could've gotten her up to 27 months in jail, because she simply didn't understand what it meant and thought there was little to no chance she'd get prison time. The plea deal was introduced to resolve her and Joe's 41-count federal fraud indictment back in March.

Teresa also received two years probation. She will reportedly begin her jail sentence on January 5 so she can enjoy the holidays with her family and Joe will serve his jail time afterwards.
The reality TV star also told Us that she feels "guilty every day," according to E! News.
Out of the couple's four children -- Audriana, 5, Milania, 8, Gabriella, 9, and Gia, 13 -- Gia is reportedly the only daughter whom they've discussed the situation with.
Joe and Teresa both pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud as well as three counts of bankruptcy as part of the March plea deal. Joe also pleaded guilty to failure to file tax returns on nearly $1 million worth of his income.
In addition, the couple admitted to claiming false salaries between the years of 2001 and 2008 and submitting phony loan applications to get some $5 million in mortgages and construction loans.
