Joe was reportedly given until November 9 to file an appeal, but in the meantime, fans have been wondering how Joe potentially being forced to return to his native Italy will affect Teresa and the couple's four daughters.
When ET asked Teresa in a sit-down interview whether she would ever divorce Joe, she replied, "No."
"We're going to be a family," she continued, "and we're going to fight this and get through this."
The only reaction Teresa gave prior to this interview was an October 14 Instagram post in which she uploaded a photo of the Statue of Liberty covering her face with her hands.
Teresa would not comment on whether she'd consider moving to Italy with Joe if the deportation order eventually stands.
"We are not even thinking about that right now. We're going to take it day by day. We're going to take it one step at a time," Teresa told ET.
"First, we're going to process the paperwork to do an appeal, and we're going to get through that."

Teresa appeared very stoic during her interview, and she was reluctant to offer up any specifics on her family's situation.
"I take it day by day. I can't predict the future, and I am not going to be, you know, I am going to be positive about it," she said.

"Joe starts talking about [the deportation order] and I don't want to talk about it yet. I am like, 'We're not talking about this yet.'"
Teresa reiterated that she doesn't even know her husband's opinion on the topic because once he "starts talking about it," she allegedly cuts him off.
"I shut him down," Teresa insisted. "I don't want to talk about it, and what comes first is our daughters and we're going to fight this. So that comes first."
Teresa and Joe are parents of 17-year-old Gia, 14-year-old Gabriella, 13-year-old Milania and 9-year-old Audriana.

Teresa's father, Giacinto Gorga, is also reportedly living with her for the time being, so he will be another person to consider when the time comes.
"My dad lives with me," Teresa confirmed to ET. "[But] like I said, I am not even thinking about [possibly leaving my dad] right now."
Teresa and Joe, both 46, were sentenced to jail time in October 2014 after pleading guilty to three counts of bankruptcy fraud as well as conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud as part of a plea deal to resolve their 41-count federal fraud indictment.

Joe began serving his 41-month prison sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey in March 2016, shortly after Teresa was released from prison in December 2015 after spending 11 months behind bars.
The scheduling of the couple's prison sentences allowed for one parent to be with their children at all times.
