The Real Housewives of New York City star Ramona Singer is declining to confirm or deny reports she's split from Mario Singer, her husband of more than 20 years.

The current state of Ramona and Mario's relationship remains unclear in light of reports Mario's been cheating on his wife. Former Housewife Jill Zarin told People, "Ramona has been protecting him. She looked the other way when people told her he was cheating."
"Thank you all for the love & support! For my daughter's sake, I would appreciate everyone respecting our privacy during this difficult time," Ramona additionally tweeted.
Back in October, The New York Post reported Mario, 60, had been dating a young, blonde socialite -- recently identified as Kasey Dexter -- since Summer 2013, knocked her up and paid for her to have an abortion. The newspaper also reported earlier this week Ramona caught Mario with Dexter, 32, at their shared Southampton home this past weekend.
Ramona "threw a fit and called the cops," a source told the newspaper.
Despite allegedly catching her husband cheating, an insider told People, "She did not want a divorce. Ramona loves her life. She loves Mario."
But Ramona reportedly hasn't been the perfect partner either, as The Post claims she was spotted on a date with a "20-something-looking guy" late last week. However, the People insider insists Ramona "was out with this guy last week but not like a date. Just out at a bar. It was just people hanging out -- nothing happened."
Ramona and Mario have reportedly been trying to keep up appearances recently despite all the drama in their relationship.
"They were together New Year's Eve and New Year's Day at a country club in Alpine, NJ, with other couples," said the insider. "[Ramona] was posting pics all over the Internet of her and Mario in bathing suits, trying to put on a front that everything is perfect and there are no problems in paradise. Everyone knew he had this girlfriend."
The Real Housewives of New York City will return to Bravo with its sixth-season premiere March 11 at 9PM ET/PT.
