The pair, who have an adult daughter named Avery in college, have reportedly been fighting and on the outs for quite some time now. The split was "anything but amicable," according to the website.
"They like to put on appearances like things are okay," a source told Us. "It's been going on like this for awhile."
Another source added, "It is like war of the roses between them right now."
Late last year, Ramona, 56, reportedly denied reports Mario, 60, had cheated on her and gotten another woman pregnant.
