Candiace will join returning cast members Gizelle Bryant, Karen Huger, Ashley Darby, Robyn Dixon, and Monique Samuels.
Charrisse Jackson-Jordan will also make guest appearances as a friend.
Beginning on Sunday, May 6, the series will move to its permanent timeslot of 8PM ET/PT.
"The shade and drama in Maryland never end," Bravo teased. "Betrayal, family ultimatums, accusations, and open marriages are taking over the rumor mill of Potomac, and everyone is talking."
This season, the ladies will face the highs and lows of friendship, and marriages will be challenged.
A story will break in the press about Ray's tax debt, and Karen will try to keep her head held high as she supports her man. However, it will become clear she's living beyond her means.
Meanwhile, Ashley and Michael will try to get their relationship back on track, but Ashley's need to be financially responsible for her mother will drive Michael to give her an ultimatum she can't bear.
After many disappointments, Gizelle has finally found a guy who can handle her big personality. Although she's really happy with Sherman, the network suggested, "Will balancing motherhood, a new relationship, and her cosmetic line prove to be too much?"
Monique and Chris will be shown moving into their new home. They want to expand their family, but Monique will question whether she can add more responsibility to her plate.
As for Robyn and Juan, they will begin piecing their life back together. While their finances are good, they will move into a bigger home. Ashley will also continue to judge the way Robyn and Juan choose to live, causing "a rift" between the ladies.
And the new Housewife, 31-year-old Candiace, is a former Miss United States who knows Ashley from the pageant circuit. She's newly engaged to restaurateur Chris Bassett and will be shown planning her dream wedding. However, entering the inner circle of ladies will be no easy feat.
