"The Real Housewives of Orange County" star Meghan King Edmonds is going to be a first-time mom.
The 31-year-old television personality announced she's pregnant and expecting with husband Jim Edmonds in an Instagram post on Monday.
"We're expecting a perfect little bundle of sugar and spice and everything nice! Jimmy and I are over the moon! We are thrilled to bring our daughter into our perfectly imperfect blended family in time for the holidays!" she wrote.
Edmonds and Jim, a 45-year-old Fox Sports broadcaster and former MLB player, married in 2014. Jim is already dad to four children, Lauren, Hayley, Landon and Sutton, from his two previous marriages.
"I'm a stepmom, and I really feel like I am a mom in every way but the name," Edmonds recently told Us Weekly magazine. "I do everything but half the time. I'm excited to have a child of my own with me every day."
Edmonds told People she and her husband conceived via in vitro fertilization. She described the process and recovery as long and painful, but said she's "so over the moon" to finally be pregnant.
"I couldn't believe it the first time I peed on a stick and I saw that little line kind of get a little darker," the star shared. "I've always dreamed of this, but it's still such a miracle. I can't even describe the feeling."
Edmonds joined "The Real Housewives of Orange County" as a series regular in Season 10. The reality show returned for an 11th season this week and airs Mondays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
