The a cappella group from Huntsville, AL, claimed the show's grand prize of $100,000 and a Sony Music recording contract based on home viewer votes cast following last Wednesday night's penultimate broadcast.
"It's been a great journey. We've gotten closer as a group. We love all these [other groups] in these boxes. We plan on touring with some of these people, so look out for us soon. But we owe all this to God and our friends and family. Thank you," Committed member Terry Thomas said.
Committed defeated Street Corner Symphony, an a cappella group from Nashville, TN, that finished second.
"This has been amazing -- my family -- this has been an experience of a lifetime," Street Corner Symphony member Jeremy Lister said.

Jerry Lawson and the Talk of the Town, a group from Oakland, CA, was the first a cappella group eliminated from the competition's finale.
"It's been a wonderful wonderful experience for me to sing with such a wonderful bunch of guys, Talk of the Town, all the groups -- all the groups on the show -- has just been fantastic," said Lawson.
"We are one family and I was just telling the guys backstage, 'We're a family and we'll always love each other. And there were no winners or losers.' All of us are winners because all of us sang a great style of a cappella, and it was just wonderful."
The Backbeats, an a cappella group from Los Angeles, CA, was the second group eliminated from The Sing-Off finale.
"We're just very grateful to be where we are. We couldn't be here without the places that we've been... and we're just so grateful for all the love everyone's shown us while we've been here," Backbeats member Courtney Jensen said.
