The Style Network announced it has ordered Jerseylicious, a new The Real Housewives of New Jersey-like docu-reality series that will follow six hairstylists from the Garden State.

"Our viewers are in for a wild ride when they enter this hairspray mayhem," said network president Salaam Coleman Smith.
"We love that this series takes a fun look at the always entertaining personal lives and real-life drama of this outrageous staff while also capturing the fabulous makeovers and Jerseylicious styles at the salon. It's a perfect combination for Style's young female audience."
Jerseylicious' cast consists of makeup artist Olivia, stylists Tracy, Gigi and Anthony, and the salon's owners -- Gayle and her daughter Christy, who are trying to manage their current business and also launch a new salon.
The series is currently slated to debut in the spring and is produced by Endemol USA.
"The people we're featuring in Jerseylicious follow in our company's tradition of showcasing truly entertaining and captivating characters," said Endemol executive David Goldberg.
"As we continue to expand our growing cable business, this show will be as innovative to docusoaps as our other shows have been for their genres."
