Six singers automatically advanced to The Voice's upcoming "Knockout Round" after they won their respective "battle" against a fellow teammate, while one artist was selected to move on after he lost his battle but was stolen by another coach. Each coach is allowed two "steals" in this round.

Coach Pharrell Williams matched up Jordy Searcy with Taylor Phelan, requiring them to perform "Breakeven (Falling To Pieces)." Pharrell decided Taylor had won the battle. Jordy was therefore eliminated.

Coach Adam Levine asked Alessandra Castronovo to face off against Joe Kirk in a performance of "Stay." Alessandra won the battle.

The Voice coach Gwen Stefani paired Menlik Zergabachew with Troy Ritchie. The two guys sang "Maneater," and Gwen declared that Troy had won the battle. However, Adam and Pharrell fought to steal Menlik, and the artist chose to be on "Team Pharrell."

Three other artists were briefly featured during Tuesday night's broadcast, as viewers saw short clips of their performances and the moments in which they landed on one of the four coaches' teams.

There was a Clara Hong vs. Rebekah Samarin showdown for "Team Adam" and Rebekah won it. Grant Ganzer went up against John Martin on behalf of Blake's team, and Grant was dubbed victorious. Justin Johnes faced off against Tanner Linford for "Team Blake" as well, and Tanner came out ontop.
