The Voice kicked off Season 11 with the Blind Auditions and coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys definitely had amazing talent to fight for.

Two artists delivered jaw-dropping performances and achieved four-chair turnarounds from the coaches, sparking playful arguments and passionate debates.

Dave Moisan, a medical device salesman and former competitive swimmer from Louisville, KY, actually hung out with Adam once backstage at one of his Maroon 5 concerts. At that moment, Dave became motivated to sing professionally and started the Dave Moissan Band without ever having received a vocal lesson.

Dave sang "Sex and Candy" for his audition and grabbed the attention of all four coaches, especially Adam, who turned around first. Miley and Adam even gave him a standing ovation.

Adam told the artist he believed in him before any of the other coaches and loved his "soulful and smooth" sound. Adam appreciated the fact they have similar voices, but Blake called the coach out for wanting to make Dave his puppet, which Adam denied.

Blake told Dave that he's "incredible" and shouldn't pick "a crappy coach" in Adam. Miley told Dave he's the better looking version of Adam but the world doesn't need two of them. Miley urged the singer not to go with the obvious choice.

Alicia said she'd be the perfect coach for Dave because she knows how to bring a "soulful experience" into his performances. She said they could work on classic songs and make "magic" together on the piano.

In the end, Dave decided to "break the mold" and go with Alicia.

"I was shocked when he picked me and I'm really glad that he did!" Alicia told the cameras.

"It was genuinely the hardest thing ever not to pick Adam," Dave noted.

Alicia also won over Jason Warrior from Chicago, IL, and Christian Cuevas from Rochester, NY, for her team.

And then there was Ali Caldwell, a 28-year-old from Woodbridge, NJ, who performed in an all-girl group called Exhale when she was younger. They opened up for Patti LaBelle and Boyz II Men, but the group faded and Ali eventually decided to move to New York to pursue a solo career.

Ali toured in Russia multiple times and developed a fanbase there, so she's looking to make a name for herself in America.

For her Blind Audition, Ali sang "Dangerous Woman" and knocked it out of the park. Adam, Blake and Miley stood up for the singer and all four coaches fought to have her on their team.

Adam admitted he was "so blown away" and basically suggested she could win the whole competition. Blake said he previously won The Voice with Alicia's ex-backup singer Jermaine Paul, so while he may not seem like the obvious choice for her coach, he'd be a great one.

Miley called Adam and Blake "braggy" about how many times they've won the show, but she complimented Ali's amazing voice and said she wanted to really get to know her and choose songs people would never expect, like an old country song, so she won't get stuck in a category.

Alicia hugged Ali onstage and pointed out her hard work, and then Adam copied Alicia in order to win the artist. Blake joked that Adam looked like Ali's driver and he was ready to pick her up.

"I am ready to drive her all the way to the top," Adam barked at Blake, before telling Ali, "My entire season hinges on whether I have you on my team."

After listening to everyone's point of view, Ali "dared to be different" and selected Miley as her coach, which came as a huge -- but very pleasant -- surprise to Miley.

Miley also snagged Courtnie Ramirez for her team.

Blake scored Sundance Head from Houston, TX, for his team as well as Dana Harper from Dallas, TX, and Gabe Broussard from Lafayette, LA.

Going forward, Riley Elmore, a 16-year-old crooner from W. Dundee, IL, is on "Team Adam."
