The Voice contestant Gwen Sebastian, who lost her "battle" to another member of Blake Shelton's team and the chance to become a Top 24 second-season finalist during Monday night's broadcast, isn't done working with her coach just yet.

Sebastian, a country singer from Hebron, ND, announced on her website Tuesday that she has been invited by Shelton to join his sold out "Well Lit & Amplified" tour this spring.

"Never in a million years would I think that this journey would lead me to be on stage with Blake. I am honored he asked me to become a part of his show and a member of his 'road family.' Watching him perform is a learning experience in itself. He has a big heart and an infectious laugh. Plus, he's pretty darn funny!" Sebastian said in a statement.

"The first time I ever heard Gwen's voice I knew it was something special. She has the rare ability to combine power with passion in her singing abilities. Although our journey together has ended on The Voice, it's just beginning in real life. I'm so proud every night to share the stage with her out here on the 'WELL LIT & AMPLIFIED' tour! She is a star! We love our Gwen," added Shelton, whose tour kicked off March 20 in Bismarck, ND and will continue for a month before coming to a close on April 28 in Indio, CA.

Sebastian will also sing with Shelton on April 1 at the ACM awards, which will air live on CBS at 8PM ET/PT.

Sebastian lost her "battle" round face-off -- in which two contestants square off after The Voice coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Shelton each select two members of their individual singing teams to perform a duet performance that would end with the coach eliminating one of the singers from the competition -- to Erin Willett, a singer from Gaithersburg, MD, and failed to advance to The Voice's live performance rounds in which she would've competed as a "Team Blake" representative.

Shelton had paired Willett and Sebastian to perform a duet of Pat Benatar's "We Belong" during this week's episode.

"I think Blake was right when he said that each of us is so different. I wanted to stay true to my country roots and add that flavor. I thought we each gave our all," Sebastian noted of the overall "battle" performance.
