During Monday night's broadcast, each artist sang twice. The first song was selected for the Top 5 artists by their coaches and the second song was a tune the contestants had picked for themselves as a tribute to their hometowns.
Adam asked Matt to sing "Make It Rain" by Ed Sheeran and the singer received a standing ovation from all the coaches -- Adam, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell Williams.
Blake told Matt it was a "Grammy-worthy performance," Pharrell called him a star, and Gwen said he's sweet but sings with an unbelievable voice that always gives her chills.
Adam was astounded by Matt, telling his team member that he's "humble and laid back" yet "destroys every song" in different styles. Adam admitted he was blown away and had never heard a person master such a wide variety of songs on the show before so effortlessly and gracefully.

For his second performance, Matt opted to sing "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For" by U2. Once again, all the coaches got up on their feet.
Blake noted it was effortless, Pharrell said Matt slaughtered his first song and Bono would definitely be proud of his second performance. Gwen called Matt "so unique" with a rich, magical voice. Adam just said "wow" and had no other words to say because the audience apparently said it all with their applause.
Also on "Team Adam," Damien sang "She's Out Of My Life" by Michael Jackson -- which was Adam's pick -- and then Paula Cole's "I Don't Want to Wait." Blake told Damien his rendition of the Michael Jackson hit was "one of the most perfect performances" he's ever seen on The Voice.
Chris Jamison, representing Adam's team, first sang "Sugar" by Maroon 5 and then followed it up with "When I Was Your Man" by Bruno Mars. "Sugar" was Adam's selection for him.
Blake and Gwen also each have one artist remaining in the competition.

Blake asked Craig Wayne Boyd to sing "Working Man Blues" by Merle Haggard. Craig then decided to perform "The Old Rugged Cross" by Alan Jackson for his hometown dedication. Blake said it was one of the most "passionate" performances he's ever seen on the show.
Gwen's artist Taylor John Williams first took the stage with his coach's pick of "Falling Slowly" by Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova. He then sang his original rendition of "Blank Space" by Taylor Swift.
Tuesday night's The Voice results show will feature two artists getting ousted, determining the Top 3. The nine eliminated contestants from the Top 12 will then perform one last time in the hopes of earning the only "Wild Card" spot in the finals.
