Adam Levine argued he's hungry and more fired up than ever so he really wanted Viktor on his team. Adam said Viktor could win the whole show. Blake Shelton agreed, saying Viktor was basically a shoo-in for the finals. After all the coaches expressed their admiration, Viktor opted to be on "Team Adam."
A duo of girls on guitars, Andi and Alex, sang "Thank You" and also received a four-chair turnaround. The coaches were blown away by their harmonies and polished vocals. Adam pointed out that they are probably the best duo he's ever heard on the show and in his life in general. Andi and Alex, most flattered by Adam, picked him as their coach.
While Adam snagged two amazing acts for his team, Blake also got a four-chair turnaround. Krista Hughes took the stage with "Angel From Montgomery." Adam said it was flawless and all she needed was confidence. Blake countered with an argument about how song choice was going to be vital to her success in the competition and the country-leaning artist would benefit from his guidance. Krista therefore chose Blake.
Blake also won Cole Criske, who sang "Dreaming With A Broken Heart," over Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. Adam was the only person to turn his chair for Chance Pena. Chance sang "I See Fire" and Adam yelled at the other three coaches for screwing up badly by not supporting him in the competition. Gwen confessed she did make a mistake and she'd try to steal him later on.
Pharrell won Darius Scott with "You Make Me Wanna" over Adam and Gwen. Gwen made a great point that she's had the longest career of any of the coaches on the show and loves to mash up different styles, but Darius' roots led him to Pharrell. Pharrell also turned his chair for Celeste Betton with "Love You I Do." He was the only person to want Celeste on his team.
Gwen walked away with Korin Bukowski on her team after Korin took the stage with "Cecilia and the Satellite." Alex Kandel, who performed "Bright," also opted to be on Gwen's team instead of Adam's.
