The 11 The Voice acts join the 13 acts who were previously selected during the show's first two audition episodes.
Below are NBC's full descriptions of each of the artists selected during The Voice's third fourth-season episode:
"Team Adam"
- Duncan Kamakana
A Hawaiian native, Duncan is a soul/folk rock singer who also plays guitar and ukulele. A firefighter by day, Duncan credits his father and his supportive family as a driving force in his music. He is inspired by singer/songwriters like John Mayer, Amos Lee and Jason Mraz.
- Karina Iglesias
Karina was encouraged to pursue a career in music by her grandmother who loved to listen to her sing in church. She is a Latina from Florida who is very open about her sexuality and just married her partner last November. Karina has developed a signature gospel/R&B style and recently started teaching voice lessons to elementary school kids.
- Warren Stone
Warren is a country singer from South Carolina as well as a full-time firefighter and father of three. He has been playing guitar and singing for fifteen years and is a huge fan of Luke Bryan and Eric Church.
"Team Usher"
- Chelsea M.
Chelsea is a pop/soul artist from Virginia who has been singing for 12 years and also plays piano. The middle of three sisters, Chelsea is a full-time student at James Madison University and would like to pursue a career as a math teacher, if music doesn't work out for her.
- Taylor Beckham
A former gymnast, Taylor once had her sights on Olympic gold, but gave that up to pursue music. Originally from Dallas, TX, this pop/R&B artist plays the piano, guitar and violin. She also loves horror movies, citing the Scream films as her favorites.
- Michelle Chamuel
Michelle is returning to The Voice stage for the second time. She didn't make a team last season, but with the encouragement of Season 2's Tony Lucca, she is back to prove she has what it takes. Fluent in French, she is an indie/pop artist who also plays the piano and guitar and enjoys listening to Ella Fitzgerald, Robyn and Imogen Heap.
"Team Shakira"
- Garrett Gardner
Garrett is back for his second try on The Voice, bringing his funky pop/rock/blues style. He grew up around music and watched his mom and dad play together in a band. This 17-year-old high school student from New Jersey also plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, ukulele and mandolin and is inspired by everyone from The Beatles to The Black Keys to Bruno Mars.
- J'Sun
Born and raised in Brooklyn, J'Sun is a pop/R&B singer who was inspired at the age of six to start performing after watching Michael Jackson on television. He was once part of the Brooklyn Youth Choir and is a big fan of Whitney Houston, Maxwell, John Mayer and Prince. J'Sun finds support from his large, close knit family who are originally from St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
- Monique Abbadie
Monique is a soul/jazz/pop singer from Florida who once sang the National Anthem at a Florida Marlins baseball game. She has been singing since she was five and also plays piano and guitar. This 20-year-old college student is currently studying criminal justice while working at her family's freight company. Monique is a big fan of Beyonce, Michael Jackson and Jessie J, and she would love to cross-over as a singer and actor.
"Team Blake"
- Holly Tucker
A full-time student at Baylor University -- where she plays the saxophone in the marching band -- Holly has been singing since she was three years old. She also plays the guitar and piano and strives to "present songs, not simply sing them." A self-described "hopeless romantic," Holly's favorite movie is Titanic.
- The Swon Brothers
These country-singing brothers, Colton and Zach, hail from Oklahoma. As kids they grew up with southern gospel music, which sparked their interest in becoming musicians, and are now fans of Keith Urban and The Eagles. With big personalities, often providing the comic relief, the brothers' close relationship keeps them on track to fulfilling their goals and musical ambitions. About The Author: Elizabeth Kwiatkowski
