The Voice's Top 9 ninth-season artists took the stage for America's vote Monday night and everyone was pretty neck and neck until Jordan Smith's vocal of "Somebody To Love" by Queen blew everyone away.

"Pound for pound that was hands down one of the best night of performances on #thevoice ever. So proud and lucky to host this awesome show:)," The Voice host Carson Daly tweeted last night.

It was an excellent night of performances but one singer outshined the rest. Jordan received the night's only standing ovation from all four coaches Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams as he closed out the show by belting out a Queen classic.

While the audience was roaring with applause, Jordan's coach Adam was basically laughing in disbelief and clapping because he was so astounded. Adam couldn't even give his team member a critique other than saying it was one of the best things he's ever seen in his life.

Another top-notch performance was Madi Davis taking the stage with "Big Girls Don't Cry." Her haunting, unique voice landed her a standing ovation from her coach Pharrell as well as Blake, who couldn't believe he had just witnessed a live performance. Blake kept repeating, "It was too perfect to be live!"

Blake noted Madi will be a shoo-in for the finale, as did Pharrell, who explained she's so Broadway and film ready at only 16-years-old. Adam called her vocal different, romantic and unexpected.

But Blake threw around the idea of an artist definitely advancing to the finale. He told more than a handful of singers they were all set, but only four artists will advance to next week's finals. That means five artists will go home during Tuesday night's live results show.

Blake's artist Barrett Baber sang a country rendition of "Ghost" by Ella Henderson. Blake said he "kicked in the door to the finale" and it's time to start figuring out what he's going to sing next week.

Blake also told his team member Emily Ann Roberts she's going to make it into the finale after her performance of "9 to 5" by Dolly Parton. Blake insisted she's going to make some record company a lot of money and he therefore wished he owned one.

As for Blake's team member Zach Seabaugh, his performance of "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus showed off a different side to him as well as his vocal range. Blake said he showed off his vocal range and it was his best performance of the season, making him a real contender for the finale.

Blake also supported his girlfriend Gwen's artist Jeffery Austin. After he sang a stripped-down version of Cher's "Believe," both coaches said he's "obviously" going to the finals because he's just incredible.

Another great performance belonged to Shelby Brown on "Team Adam." Her song "Even God Must Get The Blues" by Jo Dee Messina exuded her newfound confidence onstage. Adam said she absolutely deserves to advance.

The only two artists who didn't receive over-the-top praise or comments were Gwen's Braiden Sunshine with "Amazing Grace" and Adam's Amy Vachal with a quiet, sweet rendition of "To Make You Feel My Love."

Gwen told Braiden his performance was spiritual and beautiful, just adding to his excellent tone. Adam told Amy the room froze when she sang and she offered the competition a moment -- something different and "refreshingly raw and honest."
