The Voice Battles continued with seven artists surviving the cut during Tuesday night's Season 13 broadcast on NBC starring coaches Adam Levine, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson and Blake Shelton.

In "The Battle Round," a coach pairs two of his or her team members up at a time and chooses a song for them to sing as a duet. While the team members must blend their different sounds, the goal is to out-perform each other for only one spot on the team moving forward.
The artists who won their respective Battles last night were Davon Fleming is a 25-year-old worship leader from Baltimore, MD; Hannah Mrozak, an 18-year-old from St. Francis, WI who currently resides in Richfield, WI; Dylan Gerard, a 28-year-old nurse's assistant from Jacksonville, FL; Esera Tuaolo, a 48-year-old former pro NFL football player from Hawaii who currently resides in Minneapolis, MN; Chloe Kohanski, a 23-year-old from Mt. Juliet, TN; and Mitchell Lee, a 29-year-old woodworker from Columbia, SC, who currently resides in Nashville, TN.
However, Adam, Miley, Jennifer, and Blake are each allowed two "Steals" during this round, which means he or she may select two losing artists from opposing coaches' Battles to join his or her own team for the upcoming "The Knockout Round" and potentially beyond.
The artist who was stolen on Tuesday night's show was Dennis Drummond, a 27-year-old musician from Warren, OH, who currently resides in Nashville, TN. He went from Blake's team to Adam's team.

For the Battles, Joe Jonas is serving as Adam's team adviser, Kelly Rowland is serving as Jennifer's team adviser, Billy Ray Cyrus is working with his daughter Miley, and the Rascal Flatts are helping out Blake's team.
The contestants who were sadly eliminated in this round last night were Maharasyi Hansa, a 27-year-old from Los Angeles, CA; Brandon Showell, a 26-year-old seventh-grade English teacher and former cruise ship singer from Virginia Beach, VA; Dave Crosby, a 30-year-old YouTube sensation from Salt Lake City, UT who currently resides in Seattle, WA; Rebecca Brunner, a 22-year-old from Mason, MI who currently lives in Chicago, IL; and Ilianna Viramontes, an 18-year-old from Brentwood, CA.
"Team Jennifer" kicked off the night with a Battle between Davon and Maharasyi because she said they are both R&B singers who could complement each other well.
The pair sang "I'm Your Baby Tonight" by Whitney Houston, and Jennifer said Maharasyi looked like a star and sounded amazing. Meanwhile, Davon just exuded joy when he performed. In the end, Davon was named the winner since Jennifer believes he can go really far in this competition.
Adam paired Brandon and Hannah for a performance of "Cold Water" by Major Lazer featuring Justin Bieber, saying both singers "can do it all."

After the performance, Adam noted how he had heard something special in Hannah's voice, but he had grown to love Brandon as both a person and a talent. Adam explained that both individuals did exactly what they were asked to do, and it turned out to be a "dead even match."
However, Adam advanced Hannah because he thought she actually won the Battle with her powerful voice and commitment to a music career.
Adam also partnered Dave with Dylan for a vocal performance of "Doctor My Eyes." The song was shown during a brief montage of Battles, and Dylan won, because Adam said there was an unknown he wanted to explore with the artist further.
In another montage performance, Blake matched Esera with Rebecca for a performance of "This I Promise You" by *NSYNC. Esera apparently sang out and "took possession of the song," so he was declared winner of the Battle.
Miley had Chloe face off against Ilianna with a vocal rendition of "I Am Woman" by Helen Reddy. Miley said that while the girls sang equally, she wanted to move forward with Chloe on her team.

For the last Battle of the night, Blake matched Dennis with Mitchell since they are both rockers who live in Nashville. Blake asked them to sing "Mr. Jones" by Counting Crows.
This Battle was one of Blake's toughest decisions to make so far this season. While Blake said Dennis is a great entertainer and singer, Mitchell noticeably had clear and perfect pitch. Since the show is called The Voice, Blake thought it made sense to keep Mitchell on his team because the contestant's voice undeniably "hits you right in the hut."
However, Adam chose to steal Dennis for his team since the artist is "so unique" and the coach previously fought hard for Dennis during the Blind Auditions. Adam added that Dennis is super talented and loves playing music, so the guy belongs on his team.
