The Voice crowned Huntley its Season 24 champion over runner-up, Ruby Leigh, during the two-hour finale episode that aired Tuesday night on NBC.

The Voice host Carson Daly announced at the end of the live broadcast that Huntley, a full-time musician and former booking agent from Spring Hill, FL, is the winner of The Voice based on home viewer votes that were cast during Monday night's final performance show.

Huntley, who currently resides in Virginia, won a recording contract and gave his coach, Niall Horan, his second win in a row on the reality competition series.

Huntley shared how Niall had taught him to "take time in telling the story about a song" this season.

"He also showed me that I can be myself in this industry -- that I can be my goofy, Huntley self, and I love that!" Huntley said.

Prior to the night's final results, Niall told Huntley that it had been "an absolute pleasure" working with him on The Voice since Day 1.

"When we all spun around, we all couldn't wait to see you. Meeting your daughter Stella and her picking me -- I don't know if you would [have] -- but she did, and we became great partnership, the two of us," Niall gushed.

"We've had a great laugh along the way and we've picked some great songs. You've had some magic moments, and your levels of consistency on this show... has been ridiculous."

Niall also asked Huntley to join him for a beer after the show.

Ruby Leigh, an aspiring country star from Foley, MO, finished in second place on behalf of new coach Reba McEntire's team.

"I just want to say thank you so much for believing in me from the beginning and pushing me through to where I'm at," Ruby told Reba on finale night.

"I already feel like a winner... I've made it further than a lot of people can say, and I just feel very blessed. I'm just so glad I was able to pick you."

And Reba congratulated Ruby on everything she's accomplished this season on The Voice.

"You came in like a pro, being the 16-year-old that you are, and nobody else can say that about a person who is as sweet, big-hearted and kind as you are," Reba told the young artist.

"You've made a lot of friends, you had a wonderful time, and I'm so glad I've gotten to watch this experience with you and be a part of it. So congratulations. I love you with all my heart, and I love your family... I know everything you've been through has been hard, but here you are, and I love you with all my heart!"

Mara Justine, a singer from Galloway, NJ, finished the competition in third place. She also represented "Team Niall."

"Niall's mentorship has meant everything to me," Mara said.

"I feel like you've really brought out my inner child and my inner love for music," she told her coach, "and you've shown me that good things do happen to good people and that I should never be afraid to be myself."

Team Reba's Jacquie Roar from Granada Hills, CA, claimed fourth place.

The Voice coach John Legend's team member, Lila Forde from Seattle, WA, finished in fifth place.

The Voice coach Gwen Stefani was not represented in The Voice's Season 24 finale.

Also during the live finale, all four coaches performed "Let It Snow," and Niall, John and Reba performed with each of their Season 24 finalists.

The Voice finale also featured performances by Earth, Wind & Fire; Tyla; AJR; Keith Urban; Teddy Swims; and upcoming The Voice 25 coaches Dan + Shay.

Jelly Roll, who was supposed to perform, could not make it, but he will take the stage on The Voice's Season 25 finale next year, according to Carson.
