The Voice crowned Tessanne Chin its fifth-season winner during Tuesday night's live broadcast of the NBC reality singing competition's finale.

Chin's coach Adam Levine presented her with The Voice trophy, and Christina Aguilera -- who coached the runner-up, Jacquie Lee -- stepped on the stage and said, "You deserve it."
Chin from Kingston, Jamaica, won after she had received the most home viewer votes following Monday night's final performance show, which had featured the Top 3 finalists performing any final song of their choice, an encore of their original "Blind Auditions" song, and a duet with their own musician coach.
"Adam, a better coach for me I could not find, and I thank you every day for turning around for me, and I thank you every day for choosing me. I just want to say that it's been an absolute pleasure," Chin said before winning the title of The Voice.
"You are just a great, solid guy, and it's been nothing but joy to work with you and to just have the moments we've had. You've been a shoulder to cry on, you've been a friend, you've been invested, you've been true, and I love you and I trust you. Thank you."
As a coach on the show, Levine claimed his second victory, having previously mentored first-season winner Javier Colon. Coach Blake Shelton won the last three seasons in a row.
Lee from Colts Neck, NJ, thanked Aguilera before learning she had finished in second place.
"Christina, you know that I love you way more beyond this show, and oh God, I'm a crier!" a teary-eyed Lee began. "Okay, I just, I really love everything that you've done for me so far and you've helped me not only be a better vocalist but a better person, and in this industry, that's so important. So I want to thank you and I love you."
Will Champlin from Los Angeles, CA, claimed third place and also represented "Team Adam."
"I think it's been just an amazing journey to come all this way with you as a coach, as an artist and as a person. It's been an honor to be in your presence, man, just working with you and learning everything along the whole way, man. So it's just been an awesome ride," Champlin said.
The Voice host Carson Daly did not disclose any results of the home viewer votes. Shelton and Cee Lo Green had no team members in the finale because their finalists had been wiped out entirely in recent weeks.
