Hunte was one of the two remaining members of coach Cee Lo Green's team along with Nicholas David, a 31-year-old singer from Egan, MN.
"I definitely want to thank you for believing in me [coaches]... and for pushing me and motivating me. I also want to thank my vocal coach Romeo Johnson for also pushing and motivating me as well. I love you Cee Lo, I want you to know that and I will always love you. I'm just happy to be here standing next to [Nicholas]," Hunte said before Daly announced the elimination results.
David will compete against Terry McDermott, a 35-year-old singer from Aberdeen, Scotland, and Cassadee Pope, a 22-year-old singer from Los Angeles, CA, in next Monday's third-season finale performance show.
McDermott and Pope are both members of coach Blake Shelton's team. The teams of remaining coaches Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera were both completely wiped out in recent weeks, leaving the pair out of the running to have one of their artists crowned "The Voice."
The winner of The Voice will be determined during next Tuesday night's live results show on NBC.
