The Voice advanced five finalists to next week's Season 23 finale and eliminated three artists during the semi-finals performance episode that aired Monday night on NBC.

America voted for the Top 8 contestants in real time as they performed live throughout The Voice's two-hour broadcast.

Based on the home viewer votes that poured in, The Voice host Carson Daly announced the following five acts will perform in the finale: D.Smooth, a 25-year-old from Birmingham, AL; Gina Miles, a 19-year-old from Paxton, IL; Grace West, a 19-year-old from Canton, MI; Noivas, a 30-year-old from Hutto, TX; and Sorelle, a trio of sisters from Lexington, OH.

D. Smooth is on The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson's team, Gina represents Niall Horan's team, Grace and Noivas are members of Blake Shelton's team, and Sorelle will perform in the finale on behalf of Chance the Rapper's team.

Every coach will therefore be represented in The Voice's Season 23 finale.

The real-time results ultimately eliminated "Team Kelly" member Holly Brand, a 22-year-old from Meridian, MS; "Team Chance" member Ray Uriel, a 25-year-old from Gary, IN; and "Team Niall" member Ryley Tate Wilson, a 15-year-old from Montgomery, AL.

Prior to Carson revealing the results, Ryley Tate kicked off the night of performances by singing "Vienna" by Billy Joel.

Kelly said she loved hearing Ryley's "God-given voice" with the piano, and Blake thought Billy Joel was "a really cool choice" for the young artist.

Niall called his team member "off the charts" and noted how his performance was "unbelievable."

Ray then took the stage with "Can You Stand the Rain" by New Edition.

Kelly thought Ray's vibe was smooth, chill, relaxing, peaceful and sensual, and Blake thought the performance was "perfect timing" for the artist because he was "so cool" on the stage.

Ray's coach Chance noted he was "extremely proud" of Ray's performance, which showed strength and confidence.

Holly belted out "Rumor Has It" by Reba McEntire, who will be serving as a coach on The Voice next season.

Niall commented, "Wow that was impeccable. Reba would be happy with that, for sure... I've always been a huge, huge fan [of you]... but I heard more parts of your voice than I've ever heard. And you sold the story, too. You're incredible -- insane."

Chance said it was an awesome performance and Holly "killed it," and Holly's coach Kelly gushed about how Holly is "so gifted" and she's "such a competitor" who conquered a hard song to sing.

Noivas performed "Skyfall" by Adele, and Blake summed up the performance -- on behalf of the other coaches -- by saying Noivas always surprises the audience and sings how he feels. Blake dubbed Noivas' performance "incredible."

Gina took the stage with "All I Want" by Kodaline for "Team Niall."

Chance gushed about how Gina's vocals were "breathtaking" and he was "blown away," and Niall thought the performance was "insane," especially because of how Gina appeared to own the stage.

"We've got something incredible planned if we make it to the finals, so please, please vote for our Gina," Niall announced.

Sorelle sang "Fallin'" by Alicia Keys, showcasing dynamics and harmonies throughout the song.

Kelly praised the entire production and how she always heard something new from the trio, and Chance thought the performance was "crazy" and they really delivered with their pitch and choreography.

D. Smooth picked the song "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran.

"I don't know how you don't vote that guy into the finale. How does that not happen, man? That was just an incredible showcase and vocal ability and being comfortable onstage and just being a really cool, unique artist... You've got to go to the finale," Blake insisted.

D. Smooth's coach Kelly said the artist always "floored" her -- both onstage and in rehearsals. She said his voice is seamless, special, and straight from his soul and his heart.

And finally, Grace serenaded the audience with "'Til I Can Make It On My Own" by Tammy Wynette.

Niall admitted Grace has one of his favorite voices on the show with her unique tone and country sound and she should be in the finale. Blake agreed that Grace delivered an "unbelievable" performance and he'd be "stunned" if she didn't make it into the finale.

"You are absolutely the real deal. You are a 19-year-old girl up here singing classic country music. It doesn't get any better than this," Blake added.

The Voice finale will air Monday, May 22 at 8PM ET/PT on NBC.
