The Voice host Carson Daly revealed the results of the home viewer votes cast following Monday night's live performance show -- which had featured the season's Top 6 artists taking the stage -- and Kimberly Nichole from Seattle, WA, was eliminated.

Kimberly was on coach Christina Aguilera's team.

India Carney from Brooklyn, NY, who is also on "Team Christina," was the other member of the bottom two, however, America chose to keep her on the show via the "Instant Save" format. Just seconds before the announcement was made, Carson disclosed the vote was "literally 50/50" so everyone had to vote because every tweet truly counted.

When declared the bottom two, Kimberly and India were each afforded the chance to perform one last time for home viewers. They were hoping to convince America why they deserved to join the others in next week's live show.

Christina noted that no matter how this situation was sliced, she was going to be overjoyed to keep one of the girls on her team but also heartbroken to lose the other.

India performed "Perfect" by Pink. Christina told her that she has so much respect and love for her because she's a force to be reckoned with. Christina acknowledged India has fought her way through this competition with so much passion and dug so deep with everything she's done. From where she's started, India has grown as an artist and grown into her own.

Kimberly sang "Seven Nation Army" by The White Stripes. Her former coach Pharrell Williams called her an incredible artist and said her voice is simply beautiful. Kimberly's current coach Christina explained the singer has put her heart and soul into every single performance this season. Christina said she "electrified" every song and then begged home viewers to vote for her.

The Top 5 finalists still remaining are India, Joshua Davis, Meghan Linsey, Sawyer Fredericks, and Koryn Hawthorne.
