Owen from Washington, D.C., landed in the bottom two with Daniel Passino from Ann Arbor, MI, based on home viewer votes cast following Monday night's Top 11 performance show. After both artists sang a survival song last night, America tweeted via the show's "Instant Save" format to keep Daniel in the competition.

Owen was on Adam Levine's team, while Daniel is on Pharrell Williams' team.

Owen performed "Burning House" for his survival song and unfortunately flubbed a lyric under all the pressure. Blake Shelton advised him not to get frustrated because he's on the right path, and Adam admitted Owen had gone through a tough couple of weeks since he was also in the bottom two last week.

Adam also complimented his artist on his ability to always tell the truth when he performs, as he delivers a song in a very genuine, honest manner. Adam noted it would be a shame for Owen to go home.

Daniel sang "Jealous" for his survival song. Christina Aguilera said he proved through that performance why he's still around, and a very excited Pharrell gushed about how the vocal spoke for itself. Pharrell then pointed out how Daniel showed topography and range in that performance as well as his drive to succeed.

America had a short window to vote for Owen or Daniel on Twitter. At the end of the final commercial break, Daniel was leading 53% to Owen's 47%.

Before The Voice host Carson Daly announced Owen's elimination, Adam and Pharrell noted both of the artists have amazing voices and deserved to stay in the competition.
