Sa'Rayah, a 28-year-old from Chicago, IL who currently resides in Country Club Hills, IL, landed in the bottom two with Aaron Gibson, a 25-year-old from Atlanta, GA who currently resides in Kennesaw, GA, based on home viewer votes cast following Monday night's Top 12 performance show.
After both artists sang a survival song last night, America tweeted via the show's "Instant Save" format to keep Aaron in the competition. Sa'Rayah was on The Voice coach Alicia Keys' team, while Aaron continues to represent Miley Cyrus' team going forward.
Sa'Rayah kicked off the elimination format by singing "Rock Steady" by Aretha Franklin for her survival song.
Alicia told her team member that no one can deny the power and beauty of her voice, and if anyone has a heart in his or her, that person should be able to feel what she sings every time.

Aaron, who has been praised for his unique sound during the competition, then followed that up with a performance of "Lego House" by Ed Sheeran.
Miley said she's so proud of him and can't wait to see what they're going to do together after the show. Miley added that Aaron deserves to stay in this competition because she wants to continue hearing his "growly voice." Miley told her fans that if they love her, they needed to vote for him.
Home viewers had a short five-minute window to vote for Sa'Rayah or Aaron to stay on The Voice via Twitter. At the end of the final commercial break, it was a 66% to 34% vote in Aaron's favor.
"I first of all want to say thank you for believing in me," Sa'Rayah told her coach before the night's final results were revealed.
"Everything that you said to me when you fought for me in that Blind Audition, you meant it. And I know you meant it because you've proven it every single time. Thank you for your love, thank you for your light. I love you and there ain't nothing you can do about it."

Alicia then addressed her artist saying, "I am so blessed to have been in your presence and for us to have worked together in this way. You are phenomenal. Your voice is so incredibly gifted... Thank you for showing that anything is possible."
The Voice host Carson Daly eventually announced America had instantly saved Aaron. Sa'Rayah was therefore eliminated as the series heads into its Top 11 performance show next week.
